I have just recently gotten a heavy bag (50 lbs), for the past week I have just been punching the **** out of it, could people with sufficient knowledge provide me with some routines that I could do with the heavy bag to better my boxing ability or to get me a boxing ability...lol.
1.2.3 which is jab, striaght right, left hook for me. just do combos, pretend it's punching back,
Okay, although I already do something like that, anybody else?

Practice combinations sometimes, and free form other times. You don't need to punch it too hard. Move right and left, angle in and out. Concentrate on good form and making good contact. Use your full arsenal of punches.
Thanks...I am about to join a boxing gym too....yes!!
Also, what are the advantages of punching the bag for about 30 minutes a day for like 5 a days week....will I develop technique? punching power, hand speed will improve, strategic moves?
