He said he's fighting a top 10 opponent, but the guy he's now supposed to be fighting is barely in the top 50, i've forgot the guys name.. but he's not much.

I agree that the rematch should've been Sergio's first loss. I can't stand the guy, and if he ever steps in the ring with a top notch guy, he'll get his ass handed to him. He lacks power, and even though he's pretty slick, he's not that smooth. I'd love to see him take on a guy like Miranda, Sturm, or another top contender. He'd catch a beatdown. I can't wait to see this guy get pounded on. I think Ishe Smith would take him in a 10 rounder, too.

Ishe is the best fighter that was on that show, judging by overall record and what I saw on the show. He is the one I expect to hear things from in the next few years.

I am implying that Mora is ****....he has good boxing skillz and speed but could not KO a lightweight. He has at the moment the opposite problem of Lacy.

hes a good boxer. but no power. his record speaks for it self.

i would luv to see him and miranda go at it, he thinks he's the **** cuz he beat manfredo. sergio would get a serious beatdown.

Ishe is a natural welterweight, and moved up to 160, according to Tommy Gallagher from the contender series, Sergio wouldn't have been able to continue if there was a 6th round, Ishe caught him with a huge punch to the temple at the end of the 5th round, which Sergio nearly collapsed to, yet they didn't televise it.
They didn't even say it was a split decision, "The winner.........Sergio Mora!".
That's editing for you.

He's such a joke he makes me sick. He runs around talking like he's one of the best, when nothing he's done (oh, you won a heavily manufactured reality show- big whoop) merits any kind of bluster or attitude. He'll pad out his career fighiting chumps on special ESPN Contender cards that cater to clueless fairweather boxing fans.

I think all these fukin contender guys need to stop fighting each other and move on. The shows fukin over already. O yea and Sergio is garbage,

IMO Manfredo is going to do the most with his career out of all the contenders. With his huge ko victory over Scott Pemberton he has to be considered the top fighter post-contender series.

The contender contract kept these guys from going out and boxing other guys. Ahmed was the first one to get away from it.

sturm owns mora, although some people on another site think mora could win

I'm just really tired of Sergio Mora. He talks about the second Manfredo fight like it was an impressive win.

Here's an interesting match up=Mora-Pemberton, who would win?

sturm can beat everyone as far as you're concerned... just stick with the pac haters club, you'll do better... :p

Bwah-ha-ha! That is hilarious. Pemberton is so punch drunk I doubt he even dresses himself. Manfredo looked like a midget against him and any fighter in that weight class (that isnt a hundred years old) wil give him trouble, the top guys would kill him.

sergio mora = feather fisted show-off

Which is fine for a boxer, as long as they admit it, behave like a strategy fighter who'll outbox you, but Mora acts like he's got it all and is KingBadass.

You guys need to quit hating on him this early.

He's got some damn goods. We'll see how good he does against Shark Attack pretty soon.

I know I am coming into this late but I would love to see Mora get his ass kicked. He is the most overrated fighter in it today and when he steps up he's gonna get crushed. I would love to see him fight Alphonzo Gomez again...Alfonzo will come in faster and box his ass off.

this is the most accurate post yet
mora is a great fighter (not great great) & i think he will make a
good career for himself. doubt if it will be at middleweight tho,

yes manfredo won there rematch but mora still landed ALOT of top
shots, regardless of manfredo's "pretty boy still" claims.

Archak "Shark Attack" is the kind of guy he needed to face off against...and he's going to do it. A hard hitting, relentless pressure fighter that could give him the chance to showcase his abilites. He'll look impressive dismantling him, and should move on to bigger names.

People can keep dogging him for no reason whatsoever, because they are angry "Peety" Manfredo (their hero who knocked out a bum nobody in Pemberton) was taken to school. Cry me a ****ing river.

i have to say. of the contender guys, the only ones who will have genuine
success are sergio mora, miguel espino, alphonso gomez & najal turpin (r.i.p)
