Eastman can punch pretty well, but Miranda was staggered at the end of the 6th pretty bad, he was doing a little dance, but he seems to have excellent recovery skills and heart

Winky will drive up in the bus...and make a gesture towards Miranda to get in. He'll pat the seat lightly before he jumps on....he'll drive 100 plus miles an hour taking him to school...with Miranda screaming to get out. Only problem is..that ride won't end, school is two minutes long, and he has an even worse bus ride back.

miranda looked good against eastman, it was an exciting fight. i like miranda, he sort of reminds me of a young aaron pryor, but he's not ready for taylor yet, maybe in two or three more fights he will be. i'd sure to like to see that fight, though

you cant compare him to the champs yet. eastman does not have a strong punch but he did have miranda hurt twice in the 6th, but he recoverd pritty quik. i have miranda beating most the top 10 in this division all up till number 4.

Let's see if he can back his words up with actions. that's where the fun part comes in.

EVenthough I would favor Taylor over him right now, I wouldnt be surprised if he KO'd Taylor either. Taylor likes to fight and isnt scared to trade so Miranda could catch him. BHOP cant break an egg after 40 and had Taylor hanging on turning his back like a cowared. So Im sure Miranda could KO him. But Miranda has a suspect chin himself. Miranda would mos def be a live dog

Miranda did have a good showing against Eastman who in the past has fought future HOF's, but if i had to compare that EASTMAN to the EASTMAN that fought say a B_HOP i would say he was about 75% the fighter he was..... With that in mind Miranda needs about 4-5 more fights to even think of taking on a JT or WW, i would love to see the guy in the ring with some one like SAM THE SANDMAN SOLIMAN first to really see what he has!!! However i would favor SOLIMAN simply because of his punch output and his very unorthdox fighting style!

Miranda definitely has the punch to make some noise in the middleweight division. he needs to tighten up his game a bit before messing with any other champs at middleweight.

he did get rocked a bit, but he fought through it and made a good account for himself. i thought at least, he has heart.

one thing that has been proven over and over again throughout the history of boxing is knockout artist usually have suspect chins. it's like they have a good run and get a streak going then they get ko'd once themselves and it's never the same after that.

they respond differently to getting hit and get rocked easley.

i'm kind of curious to why that is. why guys with one punch knock out power can't take punches all that well, and tend to get ko'd in most of if not all their losses??.....hhhmmm, Miranda looks like he might fall into that category. or maybe not time will tell.

And you are all the same people that said Eastman couldn't be hurt. Miranda needs some polishing, but I think he has the potential to beat any of the top middleweights. And even if he didn't, you know damn well it would be exciting!

the bottom line, to me at least, is that this guy needs at least 3 more solid comp fights before he starts claiming that he can take down anyone at 160. he needs more polishing. a good prospect, it seems, but is rough on the edges. i did liked the fact that he pounced on eastman when he smelled blood in the water, but i feel he needs a bit more adversity since this was his 5th fight in the US i believe. not sure about the level of comp he's faced before eastman.

Miranda has the ability to become a major player at 160.He has power and good stamina.Being rocked by Eastman doesn't mean he has a bad chin, Eastman has respectable power he did drop William Joppy in the last round of their bout and unless you're Tito or old as hell like he was against Taylor it's hard to hurt Joppy.I have a problem with something that has to do a little bit with Miranda.Abraham is scheduled to face Kofi Jantuah according to *********.com and according to boxrec.com his is still scheduled to face Miranda.That is disrespectful to Kofi who is a big puncher with skill and I think has a very good chance of beating Abraham.

He still need some more oppentes to get to box really well as for the chin. I dont think someone how lived as hard as Miranda has a soft chin, even if he has his heart would hold his body up and fight back.

I thought Miranda had a good fight in was was a huge step up in class against his first world class opponent. I think this fight took him to a new level. I don't think his chin was as suspect as his D though. He was open to be caught and a boxer of Eastmans caliber can rock anyone if he catches them clean on the chin. But time will tell. He definatly doesnt want to be taking to many punches like that against a real power puncher.

You are talking about a guy that got a split decision against Hector Velazco in Germany! You know what that really means... Abraham than goes on to KO Velazco in 5 rounds. However Abraham pulls out a questionable decision against Eastman 2 1/2 months later.

He trains in Carolina at the Roberto Clemente Escuela de Esportes. The owners of Shots were at the fight in Ft Lauderdale. When Miranda returns to Puerto Rico I am sure they will have some sort of party in his honor.

yea, Sturm sounds like Eastman but without the granite chin. Ouch, I'd hate to see a man without a granite chin get hit the way Eastman did last Friday.

Not true... he was hit in the temple and recovered very fast. Did it phase him? Yea, but at the same time it would have KO'd anyone with a soft chin. It happened at the end of the round, but he would have sucked it up at any point during the round. Miranda defense needs some improvement and trust me, I've seen him get hit square a few times much harder than what Eastman did. For some reason those temple shots just shake you up more than a typical head shot.
