Short??? ?????? Jones is 5'11" that's not short. Ali is like 6'2" and a half or 6'3" that's not a huge difference.

I'd say Jones.

Ali becasue Jones is just short and small

what does that mean???? you can't be fast if you are short?

yes, jones was literally faster. but p4p ali was much faster than jones jr. also i don't think jones was more accurate than ali, the accuracy was about the same.

I would say Ali was as accurate as Jones with a better grasp on timing and range.

Jones was the fastest boxer ever. Ali was naturally bigger than Jones so its not shame if Jones is faster.

And chosen one, you're a dam fool. Jones is faster BECAUSE he is smaller.

if ali was born small as jones he wouldve been fastest ever.

agreed,
ali was much faster, he could actually string punches together witch were more affective with speed and power!!!!

Jones was powerful because of the speed he delivered his punches with, Jones was faster.

Could be a tossup, each was very very fast, but Jones probably threw better combos.

Ali becasue Jones is just short and small

 Dude, short and small has nothing to do wit speed. If anything, a smaller, lighter frame would tend to increase one's capacity for handspeed.

Judging by footage, I'd have to go with Jones. Ali was the fastest heavyweight of all time; but I'd still rank him a shade slower than a middleweight Jones.

jones, because he was just short and small.

that statement right there proves that ali was faster only casue he was taller and it took longer to reach the other boxer thus making him faster

same here because he never lived up to his potential, ali was in a much higher class
