I start boxing on Wednesday, and the lady at the gym told me I needed boxing/wreslting shoes and a mouthpiece. i strolled over to big 5 and copped some nike joints for my feet, but their mouthpieces all they had, aside from football mouthpieces, were some very cheap looking ones and these joints called Brain Pad. theres an opening in the middle to breathe through, and whatnot. $19.99 seemed kind of steep to be paying for a mouthpiece, but I didn't have many other alternatives. Does anyone have any experience with Brain Pads or know much about their quality? are they pretty solid, or should I go back and return it right now?

and 19.99 is nothing...a great mouthpeice that you will never go wrogn wtih is a custom made one..usualy around 60-90 dollars
