So i bought it (ps2), played it for a day on career mode.

Its so ****ing easy, there are no rankings so i dont know where i am, or who is champion.
After only a few fights ive beaten Hatton, Leonard and Dela Hoya.

Ive got it on hard mode, but its just the same crap every fight. Me chasing them down and beating the ****outa them.

Plus the Knockdowns suck. Not like in the first Fight Night where u could pin them to the ropes and uppercut them over and over while they were going down.

Its too slow. The training is a pain in the ass.

Il have to try it out online before giving it back.

I do play on hard.

The annoying thing is it takes forever to get to the difficult fights.

I played FN 1 recently, and that was harder when u first start career mode.

it got boring for me after a day. they need a new ai , all you have to do is counter with a good combo.

wait till you get into your 20th -30th fights, them bums get hard, atleast for me, not hard to the point were you cant beat them, but hard to were you go the distance or late tko,

I played it 2 days and pretty much got sick of it, it's the exact same **** as R2 if you bought it for anything besides 360.

it is a rehash with prettier graphics, thats y i only rented :)

Thats wat pisses me off. The first FN had rankings, and u could check out who was champion, and where u were going.

Also u could see ur record for the last 6 fights.

On this new piece of ****e game, u cant check out any opponents stats or who they have fought.

Plus its all a bit slow. The cut scenes are a pain in the arse. As is the boring traing 'games'.

I cant imagine playing it again.

Good thing I'm reading this now before I go out and buy the game because I hated the fact that you couldnt see who the previous guys fought in FN2 and the stupid ****ing haymakers where the computer is throwing like 20 a round which is pathetic, they need to put the stats in again and rankings because what the hells the point in purchasing a game where you need to know this stuff and it doesnt have it? I say modchip are wayyy better than fliptops,but i got someone else to do the installation for me,If u dont know how just stick with the fliptop I guess.If you want pirated games though,theres more options for you if you use a modchip.

Yeah you can play copies with a fliptop.Its better to download the games yourself or get them from someone who has them.

Copying retail games might give you a game too big for a retail dvd-r.Those donwloaded ones have been made to fit already.

Well really the only advantage of a modchip over flitptop is if you want to play any PS1 backups or play games that are PAL region(like the UK) and u have a US playstation those wont with fliptop alone.

That's not possible, you're lying. You reach certain goals by certain times. By your 50th fight you've already moved up one weight class and are about to fight for the third or fourth title you get in the game.

All in all, it'd be a big waste of my time and money, had I bought that game.

I created a guy, and have had 58-1-0 58KO's. And i started at Welter and am now the pound for pound champion at Light Heavy.

I bought the game, but can get a refund within 10 days, so i got 1 day left.

ANYWAY, The game has me hooked, just because im waiting for somone to beat me. I lost once early on because i changed my style from Power to Speed.

I ****ing hate these stupid 'rival' fighters i have to face over and over again. Theyre always ****, i KO them in 2 rounds.

The training is boring as hell.

The cut scenes are also boring and a pain in the ass.

58 fights and im still knocking out guys in the first or second round. Borrrrrrrrrrrrring!

if you have xbox live get a cable hook it to your router thats connected to your modem. then buy a xbox live membership.

yeah it makes me think of the old carny days dude

last a round with the champ for 100 bucks and such

some people could play a little but really most of them were worse than the cpu
only a couple people hadnt played the previous fight nights so them i could understand and have mercy for em

but anybody that owned the other fight nights and even owned round 3 i tortured and some i toyed with like a cat with a mouse

people trying that wild haymaker junk got dealt with
making them mad was a lot more fun than playing the game

embarrassing them on the big screen for the whole store to see was even better

ive played people like that before only once though. they throw wild punches i counter then with 6 punch combo's.

i heard everyone online now uses some glitch where you lean back and block to the body
