seriously, this dude is a straight out side show for Arum in PPV cards. Just because he is the son of a legend, doesn't make him a superstar either. Some people have it, some don't. How many more stupidass fights is he gonna have? ONe fight with an average fighter will get him ktfo. They were planning on putting him against a guy that recently passed away, R.I.P Kevin Payne. I hope this kid doesn't fight in the Zab vs. Mayweather fight, cuz im going to vegas to watch this fight and i aint gonna pay for some random kid fighting bums. Now that i think of it, i can probably have my first pro fight on PPV to JCC JR. and knock him out. Im not hating on him, just these people who want to build him into something he is not.

I dont think anyone is making him out to be a top prospect yet. I dont think he has any amateur background, so he is building experience the same way his old man did. It doesnt bug me that he is in PPV's, i think alot of people are interested in watching him fight, but he in no way makes or brakes a PPV for me.

As much as I enjoyed watching the father I hate watching his son. Let me rephrase that I hate watching his son versus guys they picked up on the Las Vegas strip the night before. I mean the caliber of his competition upto date has been no different than that of any 140lb tough man competition.

In all honesty and I really really mean this "Butter Bean" has more boxing skill than some of the guys Junior has faced. Its great you wanna be a boxer Junior but why do we have to suffer having you on the under card when so much better fights could be set.

I also disagree sometimes the undercard is the difference between me buying a fight or me waiting next week for it to show on regular network. How often is a well matched undercard the best fight of the night. Hell I only noticed Jorge Arce on an undercard and now he is one of my favorite fighters.

exactly, what im saying. JCC Junior can fight improving his record because he doesn't ahve an amateur background, but i dont want to see his ass on PPV!!!! Do it somewhere else!

the reason he is on ppv is because more people want to watch him fight than any winky wright type fighter who is making hbo skip undercards and go straight to the main event on tv.....i'll bet you watch jjc jr fight even if you don't like him...floyd is on the top of the food chain and he can't fill any place...gatti sucks but fills seats wherever he fights..you either got the public eye or you don't... that's life....

uhhh....first of all, NOBODY wants to watch him....are you serious? Second, Winky Wright is actually fun to watch. 99.9% of the fans would choose Wright over JCC Jr., so you have no point there. Second, i have NO CHOICE but to watch him on PPV because i can't turn that tv off. Floyd is awesome, he will fill places soon, and gatti is actually an EXCITING fighter, so OF COURSE people pay to see him. JCC jr. is A. NOt exciting, B. Can't put asses in seats unless its a big PPV, C. He does not have the public watching him. NOBody cares for his fights.

Actually it is you who has no point. JCC jr has a pretty decent following. If no one wanted to see JCC Jr fight you wouldnt see him in any major card, just like calderon.

How can you say who it is the people want to watch with a straight face when both Winky and Mayweather which u mentioned, have a history of not being able to sell out a venue.

You know it was Tito who sold out the Arena against winky that night, and It was Mosely and Vargas before that.

And it was Gatti, and Castillo who sold out the arena against floyd, in fact i have seen more people at JCC Jrs fights than Mayweather's fight against Demarcus Corley a few years back.

The only one actually touting JCC jr as a great is you, most people know the kid lacks experience and they know he is young, and they want to see his progress come about in the ring so they go and tune in to see him. You are seriously just hating for no reason.

Well that's what you get for having a influencial promoter. He is being given all the chances and exposure.

The guy doesn't have any amateur background that's why he's still trying to get the experience.

I use his fights to go to the bathroom and make a sandwich. Makes for a nice break from the action. He doesn't belong in PPV's yet, should earn his dues and not ride his fathers coattails. Put him on ESPN Friday night fights or TeleFutura and let him build experience there.

there are a lot of other fights out there that deserve a better shot than this kid. just cause of his name, he's getting this exposure. that the problem with boxing, they need to show the public good fights and matchups instead of these guys that go in against no one and produce a knockout. its not that good for boxing.

I don't think anyone thinks that JCC Jr. will be as good as his father. He's just a kid giving boxing a try why be so harsh on him. He'll either be exposed in a big way or become a decent fighter so let's just wait and see and not hate on the kid.

I don't mind watchin' the kid fight bums on these undercards personally, I've watched him struggle against poor quality opponents as well, but at least it gives people a chance to realize that this is how fighters are made. No one starts out amazing as a pro with lil' or no amateur background in the smaller weights, it just doesn't happen, and to be honest I watch live pro and amateur fights as much as I can regardless of the level, and why????? Cuz I love boxing. I see your point of it not belonging on a ppv, hell even wrestling skips the bums when you pay to watch, but if it's a small portion of air time, well before the main event, and sells tickets, why not?

he pulls in a lot of money dude. alot of times for latino get-togethers if JCC JR is on the undercard, that's better than the main event for their little party. it's like, if Jcc Jr. is fighting, if you're latino and friends with other boxing fans, there's gonna be a latino get together at someones house to watch jcc jr just cuz of the name.

I dont really see all that about jcc jr, its cool that he's the son of chavez and trying to be a fighter, but I see him getting stopped in his next 10 fights

I disagree. Give the kid a break..he is very young. He has obvious skill in the ring. He might be getting pushed a little too quickly, but he has great potential imo
