Very average, and too many fans point to his name on their fav fighters resume to justify how good they are. Beating "Chop Chop" is no mean feat for a descent fighter.

Demarcus is a good fighter, he isnt championship material but he is damn close. The man is a good boxer and a brawler. He fought Mayweather vailantly and won a round or two and lost some by a small margin. He has a strong chin, decent defense and packs somewhat of a punch. I gained respect for Corley back in 2001, when he fought sorreno for the wbo title. He took the fight on 5 days notice and ended up blistering the guys ass and knocking him out in 1, ohh yeah few days prior to the fight it was noted Corley had cataracts and still crushed him; Not to many people are familiar with this though.

The man has skills and can punch and take a punch and has never been knocked out.

Not to mention he has like 14 kids and not one of them are Bastards! :)

Also, I dont want to hear a god damn word about his attire and fashion, we are talking his in ring ability.

I think that he is above "avarage"...but he'll get his ass kick by Cotto..

btw for those kid's like chicoescuelaNY or some **** like dat...I will always root for a fighter that represents my country..that doesn't mean dat I think that a fighter is better than other just cuz he's PR...

Corley's tough, that's for sure, I've seen him take plenty of shots, but his offense is nothing to be particularly impressed by. He's good, but not great, and with the current overflow of talent in the 140 division, that translates into not having any serious shot at doing anything special.

Indeed I do. Gatti is an exciting B-Level fighter, but he would most certainly beat Corely. Likely by KO

You already know how I feel. Corley is a very good fighter that just has problems against elite speed guys. People act like he lost to nobodies. You will be impressed after the Cotto fight

Corley is a very good B-level fighter. Beat Corley, and you're sorta world class. And Corley a few years ago (the one that beat Randal Bailey) would beat Gatti. Now, I don't know.
