Or just play carreer mode and as soon as you beat someone using a shell you will have it.

playing espn classic u got it when u start career though so id just do that

heck put it on 2 player just to beat everyone and it only takes like 10 minutes to beat everyone with everyone

i dont know what unlocks what exactly cause i didnt really care about playing the classics matches

i just wanted to unlock everything from it for career

It really pisses me off you can't see who you have fought in the past and what the result of the fight was.....Also not enough options when signing a contract.I am 36-3 on my career and have only lost because of ONE punch KOs late in fights that I am winning.

wow u lost matches on it dont worry ull get to where u crush people easy

i play only on hard and only got dropped a couple times when i was messing around and a couple flash kds

after u play a while ull get so good itll be easy and u wont hardly get touched by the cpu

I am good and have been playing for years since the first one came out..........It just seems that I get a little lazy sometimes toward the end and they can take you out on this game unlike the ones in the past and I don't have the best chin.I play it on hard too I figure that is the best way because I like it to be as challenging as possible.

Jermain Taylor is the specific boxer who carries the Philly Shell defense.

Just beat him as Bernard Hopkins in Classic fights and you have unlocked Philly Shell. That will save you from going through every fight to unlock it.

while we're talking about fight night 3, my question is what do u do when ur about to fight ur "rival" and the two of u get into a fight at the weigh in? I think that **** was kool at first that it shows the two fighters getting into a fight at the weigh in but its kinda stupid since theyre wearing their gloves and trunks haha. Anyways it seems pointless cuz it seems all u do is let them wail on u.

You just have to parry their shot. You can't punch back. That's kinda gay....

this is the easy way. make the difficulty easy, go to espn classic fight joe frazier with ali and ko his ass in 3.

put it on 2 player and whoop ali with frazier in 1 round :D

oh yea, i dont like doing that i put it on easy to get some practice in.

You put it on easy for practice?
For practice I play a featherweight-middleweight and fight one of the heavies, on hard.
And still its too easy.

its only a little difficult if you create a slickster who has low agility and is a featherweight and you fight a middleweight ray robinson on hard.

Keep punch power low, and it becomes a matter of not punching yourself out trying to make up for the lack of damage.

and you cant wear yourself out because you'l get slower. il i do is counter with shoulder roll.

Philly Shell fighters are tough to beat, but still, I win.
