I voted light welter though ya know, I would have voted for Featherweight(if you included it!), if this was posted about a year ago or so. Now it seems all the star featherweights, Morales, Marco, and Manny have moved up to Super Featherweight in one big happy family that my new vote would go to there. Though aside from those 3 fighters, I find myself enjoying nearly all the top name fighters in Light Welter more than any other. Cheers!

My bedtime over in England but I do plan to do one for the lower weights (there's a limit of 10 options on these polls)

Then the winners can trade off...

The general consensus is, the higher the weight the match is, the greater the chance for knockout, but the lesser pure boxing skill involved, and I think that is the reason why the Heavyweight division is in the public forefront of boxing. The public prefers knockouts to displays of boxing skill.
Power is exponentially increased as weight goes up (heavyweights are literally twice as big as strawweights, but hit 20 times as hard). I love knockouts myself, but enjoy boxing skill as well, so my favorite divisions are the intermediate ones (140-175) in which boxers hit hard enough to result in a highly likely knockout, and display plenty of pure boxing skill to please the serious boxing fan.
But all in all, my favorite division is the welterweight division. With the return of Oscar De La Hoya and Shane Mosley (both whom I think will flourish greater than ever in returing), I believe we will see a ton of exciting matchups.

Lightweight

I like lightweight as well

You got...

JL Castillo
Diego Corrales
Joel Casamayor Acelino Freitas
Julio Diaz
Juan Diaz

And you have a bunch of real nice fighters 5 pounds south that could possibly make it even more interesting.

The best part about the division is that it appears that all of them are willing to fight each other...Jr. Welter is nice but no one has fought each other and it takes so damn long to get **** accomplished or least thats what it looks like on the surface.

Indeed the Junior Welterweight Division is the hotbed right now. So much talent it would be a shame if some of these fights are never made due to boxing politics. Floyd Mayweather Jr Vs.Kotszya Tszyu is a fight that must happen and can propel both these fighters into legendary status ala Sugar Ray Leonard and Thomas the Hitman Hearns.
