Who would you leave out of the hall of fame if you had a vote.
Here are 5 choices of baseball players with great numbers but who have blatantly broken the rules.
Should they get in on the first ballot, should they get in eventually but not on the first ballot, or should they never get in. I know Rose has already missed many chances due to his permanant ban from the game, but do you think he should be allowed to get in eventually?
The 5 players are:
Barry Bonds - overwhelming evidence shows he used performance enhancing drugs.
Mark McGwire - Overwhelming evidence shows he used performance enhancing drugs.
Rafael Palmeiro - Overwhelming evidence shows he used performance enhancing drugs.
Sammy Sosa - Most intelligent people think it is pretty obvious that he used illegal performance enhancing drugs, although right now there is no clear-cut evidence. He did however get caught red handed using a corked bat.
Pete Rose - Denied gambling on baseball for years despite overwhelming evidence. Finally admitted it last year.
