View Full Version : Klitschko vs Rahman marvelous_TG 01-25-2005, 11:38 AM What do you guys think about this fight? i think vitaly will punish rahman like he did against williams, al rahman has is a big right hand. i say KO 8 what do you guys think? enadeus 01-25-2005, 11:41 AM I don't think Rahman has a harder punch than Lewis, and he can only win if he gets a really lucky punch and Vitali doesn't see it coming. I think Vitali will jab him to the ropes and the results will be simliar to kirk johnson. Rahman does look very agressive and in shape lately, however I think that if the fight does go the distance he will outpunch himself. Ill go with a late KO or UD, not sure yet what I will bet on. Mikeystlasvegas22 01-25-2005, 11:51 AM I Hope It Doesnt Happen But U Remember Lewis/rahman 1 A Lucky Punch And Win It. I That Doesnt Happen To Vitali Because He Better Out. This Fight Is Going To Be If Vitali Passes 10 Rounds Vitali Loses dansweeney 01-25-2005, 12:01 PM rahman disgusting kayo in the 1st round, he actually pushes vk's nosebone into his brain killing him instantly via right uppercut Atwa_66 01-25-2005, 12:06 PM Rahman does have a powerful right hand, and is a good fighter, But Vitali has a reach advantage, and overall skills advantage. I will say Vitali TKO/KO Rahman in 7th round marvelous_TG 01-25-2005, 12:06 PM rahman disgusting kayo in the 1st round, he actually pushes vk's nosebone into his brain killing him instantly via right uppercut your kiddin right? :o dansweeney 01-25-2005, 12:09 PM i was playin before, this fight will not go the distance, probably vitali by ko in 5, but rahman is a much better boxer then he gets credit for, dw was over his head, if rahman leads with the jab he does have the power to kayo vitali, i think vitali will fight backing up to avoid the right, but i hope it turns into a war like the sanders fight Floydmayweather 01-25-2005, 12:14 PM Vitali will knock Rahman out he is outmatched in everyway. !!Captain 01-25-2005, 02:14 PM Vitaliy by KO or TKO by round 8. Watch that vaseline and water bottle! Nodogoshi 01-25-2005, 02:28 PM Rahman is way better than Vitaly's last 3 opponents. He would KO Williams or Johnson and he KO'd a younger Sanders then Vitaly. I'm gonna pick Rahman to pull off the upset. I know it'll be a tough fight for the Rock, but if he comes in shape I think he has a good chance. Great 01-25-2005, 03:30 PM Vit by UD or later TKO. MetalVomit 01-25-2005, 03:47 PM Rahman is way better than Vitaly's last 3 opponents. He would KO Williams or Johnson and he KO'd a younger Sanders then Vitaly. I'm gonna pick Rahman to pull off the upset. I know it'll be a tough fight for the Rock, but if he comes in shape I think he has a good chance. Sanders had Rahman in trouble a couple times in that fight though. Sanders rocked Vitali a couple times as well, but Vitali took them shots. He is going to brutalize my boy Rahman. I wanted Hasim to get the other belts. I like him, that's why I dont want to see this fight. Vitali by KO 6 Truth 01-25-2005, 03:51 PM Rahman has a good shot at pulling off the upset if he comes right to fight. Torino 01-25-2005, 04:59 PM If Vitali manages to avoid Rahmans right hand, I think this fight will turn out just like Klitschko - Johnson. Rahman doesn't get the respect he deserves. When he properly prepares and focuses on a fight, he's a pretty good fighter. Having said that, his only chance to win is by KO. Eyeh8you 01-25-2005, 05:13 PM Dude, Rahman had his 15min of fame. I mean the man went da distance w/Al cole!!!!! I feel bad for Rock. This is his last shot. I mean lost to Lewis in rematch, got whooped by Ruiz, now Vitali. Remember the Ruiz fight! Johhn had him on queer street alot during that fight just never got the KD. Ruiz basically dominated him and now he thinks he gonna KO big V, no fukin way! Sorry to say this but KO in early rd or TKO in mid rds warped 01-25-2005, 07:54 PM Vitali will figure him out in 5 rounds and KO him in 7. adeelr 01-25-2005, 08:00 PM Klitscko needs to worry a little about Rahman. Rahman is a little bit underrated as a heavywieght fighter, he might be able to produce another upset...But he has little chance of winning if Klitschko fights smart like he always does. Kid Achilles 01-25-2005, 09:17 PM I think Rahman has a pretty good right hand but he is not in Corrie Sanders' league as a puncher. He's also slower than Sanders, who had a hard time landing flush against Vit, so I don't like Rahman's chances of winning in any kind of frontal assault like the one Sanders attempted. He does have more skill than Corrie and I would argue that his boxing skill is actually close or equal to Vitali's. I think his best chance is to play counterpuncher. We've all seen what happens when you rush in at Vitali, he moves to a safe distance and tags you. I think Rahman needs to let Vitali make the first move. Vitali always fights with his hands rather low and I think that he's extremely vulnerable for that quarter of a second after he misses a punch. Rahman has the courage and the skill, but what shape will he show up in and will his chin betray him? This is a fight that very well may be within his limits physically, but he can't afford to make any mistakes and he needs to be in the best shape of his life. hollister 01-25-2005, 09:29 PM Yeah, I agree, because VK never underestimates anyone, so he isn't just going to stand around and get tagged like LL did. He's going to have to fight a very tight fight, with like no mistakes, none. Of course, I think when the dust settles, VK will be on top, because I don't see Rahman being able to fight a fight like that. Toller 01-25-2005, 09:42 PM Rahman is a little bit underrated as a heavywieght fighter I actually think he's overrated if anything. He got owned by Lewis in the rematch (though Lewis did look awesome in that fight), beaten by an old man in Holyfield, lost comfortably to Ruiz, and he didn't impress against Al Cole. What has he done to show he can compete with (arguably) the best in the world? The Tua fight means nothing & looking good against a guy who is maybe fringe top 20 doesn't cut it IMO. He needs to work on that defense big time or else he's going to be in for a beating. Hurlex 01-25-2005, 09:56 PM vitali will use his long jab..and set up big rights that will ko rahman "easy to hit ass"...yeah here the thing if rahman had his power and say toneys skills he would beat vk..if toney had rahmans power he might be able to beat vk..but both lack what they need so VK will continue koing the hw division...not even lenox had ebeough skills to on his best day say that VK would be a cake walk SonnyJ 01-25-2005, 11:32 PM Rahman wins, fight stopped on cuts, RD 6. Bring back memories? Warrior Spirit 01-25-2005, 11:42 PM What do you guys think about this fight? i think vitaly will punish rahman like he did against williams, al rahman has is a big right hand. i say KO 8 what do you guys think? Man this fight is gonna be awesome! I think that this fight really depends on which Rahman will show up, obviously all signs point to the fact that he will show up in shape, but ya never know. Rahman does have a great jab and he is strong as hell so it will be interesting to see how Vitali handles this. The only thing I can say for sure about this fight is that someone is gonna get KNOCKED OUT! paulmmv 01-25-2005, 11:45 PM i cant wait for this fight rahman has proved to be a worthy fighter but hes still no vitali and i think the ref will stop this fight by round 10 The Phantom Menace 01-25-2005, 11:51 PM Rahman will be defeated by Vitali in the later rounds. I forsee Sam Peter becoming the conquerer of Vitali Klitchko in a year or two. Warrior Spirit 01-25-2005, 11:58 PM Rahman will be defeated by Vitali in the later rounds. I forsee Sam Peter becoming the conquerer of Vitali Klitchko in a year or two. Yes I too can see Sam Peter taking over the division but he will have to improve his conditioning. !!Captain 01-26-2005, 01:51 AM Rahman will be defeated by Vitali in the later rounds. I forsee Sam Peter becoming the conquerer of Vitali Klitchko in a year or two. Just because Peter can punch like hell doesn't mean that he will take over the division. Tua could punch, Tyson still can punch, Golota can punch, and on and on. The problem is that too much politics going on today in sport. If it wasn't for that, Klichko would have at least two belts by now. As it is today, Peter will have to sign up with King to have a shot at one of the belts. The last 6 fights (except Klichko) were King's contenders vs. King's beltholders. Now, that's an interesting match up. Makes me sick  AIR_KENG 01-26-2005, 01:59 AM What do you guys think about this fight? i think vitaly will punish rahman like he did against williams, al rahman has is a big right hand. i say KO 8 what do you guys think? nothing like a battle of lewis losers, lol... MikeHunt 01-26-2005, 02:29 AM What do you guys think about this fight? i think vitaly will punish rahman like he did against williams, al rahman has is a big right hand. i say KO 8 what do you guys think? I see this as one long boring fight.....A real stinker, I can't stand either one of these fellas as fighters. The only way this fight could be worse is if they ask John Ruiz to sub if one gets hurt in training. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz If the break a sweat wake me up zzzzzzzzzzz |
