FeelTheA-Force 03-07-2006, 02:37 PM bump..... no1 really has advised whether its good for what i wanna do?
any help??
moondog0 03-07-2006, 03:38 PM I voted yes on the poll. I think that any kind of exercise that is that strenuous is going to do you good. I don't think it is going to make you a world champion, but that isn't what you are doing it for. Keep up the good work, and you can always switch your routine in the future. Mix it up, that's what develops different muscle groups and strengths....
RichPorter 03-08-2006, 05:38 AM I voted no on the poll.u seem to be doing quite well on ur fitness training, however it sounds like ur skills training has taken a backseat, no matter how fit u r if ur untrained u will end up on the mat, also u may want to try using some plyometric training.and by the way protien shakes and amino tablets do basically the same thing and are best put to use if u r doing body building not really the best thing for boxing when u may b trying to reduce ur weight. I hope this helps m8!! ------------------------------------------------------------- make em miss make em pay! everyone remembers a winner no one remembers a loser! Take a punch and throw a harder one!

yeh i know. but i think i have alot of power, this is evident from my bag work. and footwork.
in the ring i kinda got nervous,(sparring) had a flash knockdown. cant wait for next time, coz ill maybe be more focussed.
i need to get to super middle,
PunchDrunk 03-08-2006, 06:14 PM Looks alright... Hard to tell, just by looking at. It depends on YOUR fitness level, strength AND of course your goals...
You don't list your set/rep scheme for your weight sessions? With out that, it's kinda hard to tell you if you'll be able to lose weight. Also, it's not clear whether you want to lose actual lbs., or just bodyfat?
You should find a way to separate your weight sessions. Two days in a row is not a desirable way to do it.
By "learn to kick ass", do you mean learn how to box? If so, you should probably put in a little more time for technical schooling at this point. Hard to tell, since we can't see what actually goes on at your gym sessions.
The way to stay healthy, is to listen to your body. Don't overestimate your strength when doing weights, keep proper form. This is more important than how much you bench! On the other hand you need to train hard if you want results. Just be sure to have enough time to recover.
To sum it up: It's hard for anyone to tell whether your training program is a good one for you, or not because we don't know you, and we can't see how you put the words in your post into effect in the real world. If anyone tells you "yeah, great workout!", you may be hearing what you want, but it'll be bullshit and they don't know what they're talking about!

I agree. Seems geared mostly towards making him ripped, not making him good in the ring. Spar more.
