Mainly, don't telegraph. Practice abandoning all power and going just for speed, e.g. get the hand out and back as fast as possible. You can practice with a partner by trying to tap him in the chest before he can parry. Jab speed isn't everything, though. Mostly it's timing and positioning.

Use your shoulder to just shoot that shit out and turn it over when you do.

I have no idea how to answer this question.

Just shadowbox.

the hitman style is when you have your hand near your stomach. It is most known for fast jabs. But the weak point is also the advantage. Since you leave your head wide open for a shot

As stated above, dont telegraph.

no matter how fast your jab may be if you telegraph it your opponent will have an opportunity to react.

Also, doubling and tripling your jab is very effective, so if the first misses the second or third will find their mark.. (well thats the plan anyways...)

Good question. I'll pass the advice one of my trainers gave me........pretend your arms are rubber bands. When you throw a punch, it is equally imprtant to bring back your hands as fast as you through the punch.

Mainly throw a punch as fast as you can, and bring it back to defence as fast as you can.

If you are tightening your fist before it hits its target....this can also slow down your punch since your muscles are tight. You want to have you hands in a fist then a second or half a second before you hit the target tighten your fist. But you may be already doing this. If not it takes a bit of practice to do this correctly.

Here's a thing I used to work on. Hit the heavy bag for three minutes at a time using only your jab, trying to snap it and bring it back immediately after hitting the bag. Then after five minutes on the bag, take an old bicycle innertube, cut it in half, wrap it around your body and throw jabs with the tension of the innertube on the arm that is jabbing. You will really feel it in your arm and shoulder, but leave enough slack so you can trow the jab freely.
