View Full Version : So damn Hungry!!!
I recently stepped up my diet and am trying to clean it up as much as possible. Im trying to lose un needed weight.
But the thing is, Im always so damn hungry! I get those damn stomach pains and get very tempted to eat the nearest junkfood in sight.
Im trying to stay away from all processed food, and shit that i know is not good for me.
The shits hard cuz my brothers are always bringing pizzas , burgers, and tastey ass food to the house. :(
i remeber seeing a video where Fernado Vargas said he took Nightquil to go to sleep cuz he was so hungry  , but i dont wanna have to do that.
Should i eat bigger portions, eat more often...
What do u guys eat?
Right now im eating alot of salad, tuna, beans, oranges, bananas, and meal replacements.
What good foods make u feel full?

Rockin' 03-03-2006, 08:17 PM Eat healthy stuff for meals and such. Get all of your vitamins and stuff and then when you are hungry between meals just munch on plain popcorn. No calories to speak of and it will fill your stomach up. Aswell, when your stomachs empty and the acid is starting to irritate it, just munch on some bread. It will soak up the acid and make you more comfortable.

Zab06 03-03-2006, 08:27 PM You just described how I've been the past couple of weeks. I stopped eating "junk food" and I'm having withdrawal hardcore..but I sleep a lot better and cut down from 210 to 202. I'm 6'0 btw and in pretty good shape I'd say.
Craving some good old ice cream though
Thanks for the replies Fellas.

when im hungry i munch on cucumbers theirs only like 45 calories for a full one so technicaly its a free food like tomatoes

VERSATILE2K9 03-03-2006, 08:43 PM ive been eating once a day and its only dinner. if i eat less it trains my stomach to get smaller. which will make me full alot quicker when eating food less then i would normally eat to get full.and im never hungry through the day. :)

Yeah, I've noticed my stomach is prepared to eat a big breakfast in the morning, the most important meal of the day.
I try and eat a well balanced breakfast so that over the course of the day, through training and just being active, I will be able to take in the nutrients while cutting the fat. Snacks for me have been peaches, pears, apples, carrots, etc. and I try not to eat before sleep. Otherwise the food sits idle.
yrrej 03-04-2006, 04:48 PM Try to eat foods with a 30/30/30 balance of carbs, fat, and protein. These tend to help you feel less hungry. Also, eating low calorie fillers, like broccoli, cabbage, lettuce, carrots. And drink something low calorie when you have the urge to eat. There's lots of dimensions to hunger. The stomach has a thousand nerve centers all trying to have you fill different needs. Bottom line is dieting isn't natural, but it's necessary. You might change your friends also. Helps to have supportive types around.

Heckler 03-06-2006, 06:28 AM Starving yourself isn't good, but it worked for me. After a while your stomach shrinks and you dont eat as much.
