Hey, like most of you, I like to do some boxing work-outs (hitting the heavy bag, double end bag, shadow boxing). I have noticed that my knuckles are more red than they used to be (but I am in no pain at all).
I was wondering, what are your thoughts on long term affects of these work outs, could they cause damage to my hands (arthritis especially).
Thanks in advance.

My Knuckles haven't gone red, they just fell stronger. Other boxers do suffer pain in their hands later in life while others don't. I guess some are just lucky!

I already have juvenille arthritis, but it runs in the family. I take Super Calcium-Magnesium with Vitamin D and Boron supplements. Note: Don't take Calcium without Magnesium or else your wasting your time! I take 2-3 of them, in a 90 capsules bottle made by Schiff. Its rather expensive, $11 a bottle for about a 1-1.5 month supply, but it helps. 3 capsules are about 120% of daily and also 100% Vitamin D and 100% Magnesium.
