View Full Version : If Vitali defeats Lennox Lewis will he be..... Enayze 01-23-2005, 11:40 AM If Vitali defeats Lennox Lewis will he be the universally recognized champion of the world? Truth 01-23-2005, 12:02 PM If Vitali defeats Lennox Lewis will he be the universally recognized champion of the world? Probably not because he has to beat the other champions but he would a great deal of respect and notoriety. Bryght 01-23-2005, 12:15 PM Beating the piss out of an old man a second time wouldn't impress me...but I always enjoyed seeing Lummox Lewis on his back. So, I hope they do fight again. leff 01-23-2005, 02:24 PM If Vitali defeats Lennox Lewis will he be the universally recognized champion of the world? the people who dont recognice him after he beats the **** out of rahman and LL probably newer will. ejk22 01-23-2005, 02:36 PM If Vitali defeats Lewis, the same people will still say that Lewis was over the hill, ring rust, blah blah blah and not give Vit his due. Also if Vitali wins more than likely there will be a third fight between the two. adeelr 01-23-2005, 03:00 PM V.K deserves the title of being the universally recognized champion....Lewis will comeback and get the beating of his life... Dark Destroyer 01-23-2005, 03:04 PM Vitali wants to get over his obsession with Lennox. Nodogoshi 01-23-2005, 06:03 PM If Vitaly defeats LL I'd give him credit and probably finally see him as a good fighter. But I don't think he will. dustymoo 01-23-2005, 06:42 PM He wont beat Lennox though will he? Lennox is far too smart, he would have studied that last fight, and wont underestimate him again. We are talking about an decidedly average fighter in Klitchko, and on the other hand the best Heavyweight of the last decade (at least). GET A GRIP! Cow head 01-23-2005, 06:47 PM Probably not because he has to beat the other champions but he would a great deal of respect and notoriety. I agree. Although haters will just use excuses to discredit him like "LL was past his prime, was old, ect" to justify their hate towards Vitali. dustymoo 01-23-2005, 06:52 PM I'm certanly not a Vitali hater. He's a refreshingly humble and decent guy. I just think he's a an 'ok' fighter, in what is a poor division at the moment! Pullcounter 01-23-2005, 07:14 PM depending on how Lewis looks in the ring, I will acknowledge Vit as THE Heavyweight champ of the world. If Lewis is overweight, Vit's win is meaningless. If Lewis is in great shape, then Vit's win will be legit. This fight is a question mark cause of Lewis' age and the lay off. Lewis should atleast have a tune up so we can see if he's still got IT. If Lewis jumps right into it, it's a hard fight to call. Versastyle 11-15-2007, 09:41 PM I think if Vitali defeats him he'll be recognized universally.I can put money on it. MamaDuck 11-15-2007, 09:58 PM Whyt would you bump this thread? PED User 11-16-2007, 01:17 AM depending on how Lewis looks in the ring, I will acknowledge Vit as THE Heavyweight champ of the world.
