View Full Version : samuel peter wants Klitschko riz 01-23-2005, 10:36 AM peter who we saw on the undercard wants to fight VK wats the outcome Bryght 01-23-2005, 12:40 PM They'd never make a fight like this. This is like throwing a one-legged rabbit into a cage with a hungry wolf. VT would kill him. dodge 01-23-2005, 12:48 PM Vitali by late stoppage. tracylee 01-23-2005, 01:33 PM Guess I'll be the first to disagree...I think that give the guy atleast one more fight, and then do it! He's hungry and strong, and could possibly pose problems for Vitali. If Sam can get past Vit's jab then who knows? I wouldnt automatically discount him winning as a possibility leff 01-23-2005, 01:36 PM he seems promising, perhaps he can challenge vk one day but it he seems to unexperienced right now, vk would probably whop him. tracylee 01-23-2005, 01:38 PM he seems promising, perhaps he can challenge vk one day but it he seems to unexperienced right now, vk would probably whop him. Right now, probably. With better conditioning and atleast 2 more fights on his record, who knows ;) Bryght 01-23-2005, 01:41 PM VK wins by early KO. JaNnO 01-23-2005, 01:43 PM he seems promising, perhaps he can challenge vk one day but it he seems to unexperienced right now, vk would probably whop him. at least 2-3 more convincing wins and he'll be ready for the bigwigs in the HW division. this guy can really hurt anybody out there. he is relentless and has quick hands. his defense and boxing skills are a bit of a suspect tho. i was impressed the way he beat yanqui diaz last night. this guy is going places. he's probably the next guy who can reinvigorate the HW division's sagging stature in the near future. tracylee 01-23-2005, 01:44 PM at least 2-3 more convincing wins and he'll be ready for the bigwigs in the HW division. this guy can really hurt anybody out there. he is relentless and has quick hands. his defense and boxing skills are a bit of a suspect tho. i was impressed the way he beat yanqui diaz last night. this guy is going places. he's probably the next guy who can reinvigorate the HW division's sagging stature in the near future. agreed! I think if he trimmed down the fat a bit, it might help his speed..which is a good tool to have no matter what weight! abdiel2k3 01-23-2005, 01:45 PM when diaz laned they seemed to hurt peters so i dont think there is anyway that peters can handle Vits power and relentless attack VK by easy KO QueenCity 01-23-2005, 01:54 PM A good fight for Peter to take next would be against old fat man Micheal Moorer, he'd get a very easy win against a figher with a name. freirui 01-23-2005, 09:10 PM Vitali ko 2 phallus 01-23-2005, 09:18 PM Vitali would school Peter, then kTFO him just like Captain Kirk. Peter is sloppy, frankenstein is well conditioned and skilled. this fight is a mismatch enegue 01-24-2005, 05:31 AM Not this early. He needs more fights. Fighting Vitali this early would surely be disastrous for him. Mikeystlasvegas22 01-24-2005, 08:56 AM U Must Be Sick To Say That Samuel Peter Will Beat Vitali No Chance In Hell The Reach Will Destroy Peter tri4ben2 01-24-2005, 10:58 AM THis has to be the stupidest thread of the day. Unless I bring up the fact that Diaz was a mismatch for Peter's style and that Diaz would beat VK. Peter will not fight VK in the next two years. bigdlb12 01-24-2005, 11:28 AM he needs a 20' boxing glove to keep V.K. off of him, V.K. will kill him guru 01-24-2005, 11:41 AM how bout we see peter against a LIVE body before discussing a title shot... like maybe barrett, whitaker, mccline or harris.... on another note, RJ must have a death wish, disrespecting VK by saying give peter his shot now... everytime he opens his mouth to say something bad abvout VK he gets KTFO..... Mr. Ryan 01-24-2005, 01:44 PM Ever since 2000, I've been hearing all this stuff about Peter being the next Ibeabuchi. The fact is, he's not. Ibeabuchi was a quick, heavy handed brawler with surprising boxing skills. Peter is the next David Tua. He's a heavy handed puncher who doesn't set you up, just blows you away. I think Vitali and Chris Byrd would be the 2 worst match ups he could ever face. I think right now the guys he should be looking at are Monte Barrett and Fres Oquendo, with a goal of taking on Lamon Brewster or John Ruiz. !!Captain 01-24-2005, 01:48 PM The best way to make a name for a boxer is to call out a champion and then tell everyone that he doesn't want to fight. He knows that Klichko doesn't win anything by fighting him at the moment so why not talk about it? SonnyG8R 01-24-2005, 01:55 PM Peter has a lot more to prove before he's even considered for a match against Vitali. Like asian senation said, let's see him against some real competition first and then reassess his chances. bigdlb12 01-24-2005, 01:57 PM Everyone want V.K., even Wald bandito 01-24-2005, 04:14 PM i like peter and he is bringing some intrigue to he heavyweights. but he would get knocked out. or atleast lose by unanimous dec. he does throw alot of wide punches. that could hurt him later on. we'll see dansweeney 01-24-2005, 04:28 PM peter by sickening savage kayo knocking vitali out of the ring where peter follows him and continues to punch him while he is unconscious !!Captain 01-24-2005, 05:25 PM peter by sickening savage kayo knocking vitali out of the ring where peter follows him and continues to punch him while he is unconscious That would be Maskaev vs. Rahman :) Sister Sledge 01-24-2005, 08:18 PM Peter is too green right now. He better be careful what he wishes for. Knicksman20 01-24-2005, 08:50 PM I hope Peter meant Vlad & not Vitali. Even then both of them will probably stretch him anyway at this point. hollister 01-24-2005, 09:42 PM when diaz laned they seemed to hurt peters so i dont think there is anyway that peters can handle Vits power and relentless attack VK by easy KO I agree, everyone is saying Peter doesn't care if he's hit, that he'll walk right through big shots, but Diaz really made him think about coming in, and Diaz isn't a big puncher, in fact, I'd even say VK jab would be as hard as Diaz's right hand, bottom line, this guy's not ready now, and he may never be. |
