Anybody here knows any store that modifies PS2? (preferably in California)

I don't want to buy online (modchip.com) and repair/install that chip myself. Don't want to mess up my PS2. :)

I got mine modded not that long ago,I dont know about any store that does it though,but the guy that modded my xbox recommended someone to me and thats who I went with, no problems.I could give you his info in you wanted.

He dosent live in california though,I do so I had to ship it out.You might want to check out xbox scene they have section for modchip installers,You could probably find some local ones now that I think about it(some do xbox/ps2 and gamecube mods,you have to look around) Just make sure they have positive feedback.

Hmmmmmmm... so it looks like no modstore exist like they did before with PS1 (the store I modified my PS1 with closed). :(
Thanks tho you gave me an idea about visiting game forums.

I bought my Fliptop online and opened up my PS2... It's not hard its easy.. Took me 15 mins to install it...

It was 33$ with the two discs... it's worth it.

Damn... So ima have to find a old PS1... If i could find one.. Is there anyway i could play PS1 games with the Fliptop?
