Mosley could be the big name that Margarito needs for bigger fights. Who would Shane be able to stop the non stop attack of MArgarito? Who wins?

mosley cause hes a good boxer with a really good chin and faster by far than margarito so his punches would easily get beat margaritos wide looping punches all night. margarito is tough too so i dont think mosley would stop him or even be that interested in trying.

if mosley cant get mayweather thats the only thing left for him..to capture some 147 pound belts...just like vargas should try to the 154 pound belts

A win over Mosley now isn't as big as a win over him a couple of years ago. Margarito would beat Mosley now.

The fight last night was a very competitive fight and Vargas wasn't anywhere near his old self so that should tell you how much Mosley has left.

You guys overrate Margarito way too much. Shane isnt the Mosley of old but he is still good enough to beat the overrated Margarito.

Let me ask you guys this. How can Margarito beat Shane and dude couldnt even beat Santos at 154? Shane does everything better then Santos and the feather fisted Santos hurt Margarito a few times, thats why I laugh when people say that Margarito has a good chin.

If Santos can out box and hurt Margarito then Shane would kill him

That's because 154 isn't Margarito's division. He's nasty at 147 and that's why nobody in that division wants to fight him. Everybody knows they will lose.

Eh, probably Mosley by UD. I don't know, but that could be an entertaining fight. Winner should definitely get Mayweather.

I'd say Mosley wins a decision in a tough fought fight. Both guys would land, and I think Mosley's accuracy in power punches would get him the nod.

You must of been very impressed by Mosley last night. Margarito is a strong welterweight and I think with his pressure he can get to Mosley in the same way Vargas did but let his hands go more than Vargas did.

Santos isn't exactly featherfisted plus he came into that fight as a light heavyweight. Santos didn't outbox Margarito either. That was a slugfest. Margarito is also fresher than Vargas was last night and Vargas was very competitive in that fight and in most peoples eyes the fight was only separated by one point.

I'd have to say Mosely by decision.

Mosely got hit a little too much, for me, but his chin held up with no problem. But all it takes is one uppercut that he doesn't see coming and it's Forrest all over again. But Mosely is quicker and by far the better boxer, and while Margarito is a strong welter, that's nothing to Mosely who's been in against Winky, DLH, Vargas, etc.

But I think that performance by Shane last night puts him in the mix at 147. Will be interesting to see who he fights and how well he does. I don't think he'd be scared of facing Margarito at all (the way some of the guys at 140-147 seem to be) and would sign to fight him for a chance to win and get right back into things with a title shot (although a minor title).
