This is the first time I see him fight in forever. Didn't he used to be in better shape?

Already took a knee...

P - D
10-8
8-9 (I had Diaz winning until the KD + 2pt deduction againt Peter)
9-10 (Peter landed the harder punches, but Diaz outworked him and controlled the action)
10-7 (Diaz is not liking those body shots at all)

Good stoppage in the 5th. I don't think that last flurry was hurting Diaz, but it wasn't exactly helping him.

My respect for Peter has grown somewhat, but I don't think he's ready for a title shot. It would be interesting to see him against a top 10 guy.

Props to Peter for stopping a true heavyweight this time.I seriously think Peter had the mental edge going into this fight since he and Diaz are good friends and are sparring partners. Now we know who the true sparring partner is and whos the true contender.

Diaz is a bum just like I have been saying all along. Peter looked more impressive than he has in his past 3 fights though, and he realizes who the real champ is, so his stock rose IMO tonight.

one of those Peter left hooks flush on Klitschko's chin and the whole heavyweight division could change... if S.P. could get close enough to land it...

lol why does everyone on here either love klitschko or hate him? i think that he's a powerful fighter who could beat almost anyone in the heavyweight division, but who has some weaknesses (tops on the list, his shaky endurance) that someone is eventually going to exploit to defeat him. by the time that happens, though, he may be the undisputed heavyweight champion...

you guys who say that klitschko sucks and is a fake champion just aren't using your brains - you don't get to where he is just on luck... but you guys who think that he is already on muhammad ali level are also not using your heads, IMO.

I dont hate him but if Peter hits him flush with a left hook it will be all over.

Who knows, if Danny boy had caught him with a hard clean left hook then...nevermind. Point is will he? He was breathing pretty hard, and Diaz made him think about lunging in with those couple of rights, and Diaz doesn't really have any power. I think it would go about like the Williams fight, because I don't see Peter getting significantly better than he is now. With his height, he will always have to fight the same way against taller heavies, and being his height and carrying 250 lbs. isn't the way to get inside quick, it's the way to get tagged on the way inside, I just don't see it.

I'd have to say Peters gave Diaz a pretty thorough beating tonite. Diaz was scared of Peters power after the first round and anytime that Diaz opened up and tried to fight he would get pounded. Peter is very good at timing his opponents and countering there shots when they miss. He swings pretty wide at times but it is usually at moments when he is not in danger of being hit. Peters really is a smart fighter to go with his power.

I haven't heard anyone say this besides on the Klitschko board, so I don't know what you are talking about.

Peters power is overrated, any top 10 would beat him.
