Check out James buster douglass's record. At one point when he weighed 220 he fought tim allen who weighed a mere 175, at the Infinity club in ohio. How did this fight get by state inspectors, this is serious weight diference............. Ohio was rumoured in the 1970's and 1980's to lack regulations for boxing......... it must have for this fight to go through.........  :D

There is no weight limit at heavyweight. People don't realize it but the rules state that the weight limits are CEILINGS, not minimum weights. 200 pounds is the ceiling for cruiserweight, but a 175 lber can fight a heavyweight if he wants to (though it would be foolish). The fact that they allow fighters to weigh in fully clothed (so they can hide weights in their pockets to put on a few pounds) proves this. No way in hell Roy Jones really weighed 200 for his fight with Ruiz. I'd say about 185-190 judging from the look of him.

193 while fully clothed with boots, and possibly weights in his pockets. He was not 193 stripped down.

Cruiserweight limit wasnt bumped up to 200lbs until 2005, after Roy vs Ruiz.
