Sugar shane Mosley is regarded as one of the best pugilists in boxing, however i donot agree. I think of shane as just a decent fighter, he has beaten by everyboxer that matched his class...except for DLH who was ripped off in the second fight. But Mosley has not done anything impressive, he has been beaten by V.F and winky twice and without any doubts....yet his name is bigger than both of them...why is this so?

He has a big name because of his undefeated record at lightweight. Only in the last few years did he move up to welter and start fighting bigger guys and losing. I don't think he is overrated because all the experts recognize he is not the same force at this division as he was at lightweight.

Yeah and all we heard about for awhile was how stupid the judges were. You don't make yourself sound like you know boxing when you say some **** like that.

Damn, sorry. Sarcasm is kinda hard to pick up on when nobody is speaking. Think about it.

Mosley's 15 seconds are up.Dropping down to welterweight isnt going to change a thing, your best days are way behind you.

I had Mosley 115-114 with one round even. DLH's pitty pat jabbing was overblown, while Mosley power punching and bodywork was undervalued.

DLH-Mosley II was the biggest disgrace in the last 5 years when it comes to HBO's notorious bias for their house fighter.

Mosley is not overrated. His record at lightweight cannot be over stated. However, I do think his best days are behind him (not to say he's shot or anything). He has just strayed from his combination punching. He has fallen too in love with his "power".

I agree, he'll still make plenty of waves at welter, but unless he gets back to throwing more than one or two punches at a time, he'll probably be outworked at the top level, I don't think he's overrated though, I happen to think he's a great fighter.

I like Shane a lot but I am a little disappointed that he and Goosen parted ways. I thought he fought to a draw against Wright in the 2nd fight and was on his way to being the Shane of ole when he threw combo's and overwhelmed his opposition. I think he will dominate at 147 and be champ again very soon.
