I've just got broadband but the single won't travel down the extension and the master phone socket is too far away.

I was advised that I can resolve this by wiring in the extension to the master phone socket. However, there's only six places and three of them are already used up by the master phone line.

So I have four colour wires to go in - red, green, white and blue. Anyone know what I ought to do?

single = signal.

In case anyone's worried, incidentally, this isn't illegal. Just a bit moronic, maybe.

take one of the phone sockets apart and take a look.

I have... I've put all the wires in and it's done me no good. Assuming I can only get three in of green/blue/white/red, which one should I miss out?
