Diaz, is throwing nothing but power shots, Irwin leaves himself a lot open to the body and Diaz doesnt seem to utilize that. Although Diaz is hitting some with some nice shots he isnt taking advantage over Irwins advantages.

Diaz is side stepping to hit at different angles, which is really nice but he needs to hit that body.

Had Diaz been doing some hard body work, The fight would be over.

The head is dead!

another rd for Diaz. Diego and Teddy are right every time he gets of the ropes and goes into the ring the beating is prolonged and he actually gets a few shots in!

The last few Diaz fights have really shown just how little punching power he has. I doubt he can move up in weight at least at this point.

It's over.

Learned some new facts about Diaz today.

Was gonna be in the Mexican Olympic team but the U.S. and Puerto Rico protested and kept him out. That's a trip.

Diaz' body still pretty soft, He better get on it with his conditioning before a mandatory fight against a live body comes along.

I want to see Diaz to fight Ebo, it would be a pretty good step up fight for Diaz.

He's a good fighter
27-0, he's on a streak
Irwin looked like he never fought before
Very flat footed and looked awkward
Got to give him credit, He kept standing
Even when he was wobbled he stayed up with good head coverage
Good fight, Diaz TKO, deserved it, keeps his belt

I first thought Irwin was in drugs, did you see his eyes? then after the fight he said he was sick.

I'm glad someone stoled Diaz's belt, he's an ordinary fighter.

Whats not to like about this kid he has an entertaining boxing style he's a young smart kid.The thing i'm worried about is him getting hit while he's throwing those ferocious punches.

How about that Martinez kid on the undercard i know he fought a ****ty fighter but i like the kid he has some nice speed man.It doesn't look like he'll have much power but i would watch out for him in the future.

the martinez kid showed some good boxing skills and speed. he is surely an entertaining pug to watch. it's just bad that he fought a patsy...but then i guess every good fighter needs a stepping stone to reach the top and he is no exception.

irwin was a shot fighter at 36. he said just before the fight that it would be his last fight. i give him props for standing there for over 8 rounds while absorbing those barrage of shots from diaz. his style was perfect for the rapid-punching tejano. he was literally diaz's punching bag the whole fight. irwin was able to tag diaz tho with good shots of his own, he just didn't posses any power to sting the baby bull. i also believed that the ref should have stopped the fight in round 5 or 6 coz it had been a mismatch since first round. but credit to diaz too for stopping the tough canadian, something that no fighter had done during irwin's 12-year professional career.

irwin is a B level fighter at best but he's tough and he's got a good left hook. irwin's best performance ever was against "little tyson" david teteh from Ghana. Teteh was Commonwealth champ ( i don't know how much that title is really worth ) and teteh got robbed in a hometown decision in Toronto, it was close but teteh really won that fight. billy was commonwealth champ for a month until the rematch, then teteh beat the **** out of billy becasue he knew he couldn't get a fair dec in To and took his belt back, but he couldn't knock irwin out. that was prime billy irwin, i guess a canadian mickey ward
