man, you really scared me for a minute. when i first saw this thread i though you meant robbed by the judges against billy irwin

Diaz robbed his own belt, he was scared of loseing it, and wanted to keep it.

Even teddy Atlas was trying to get Roger Clemens to talk about his new contract with the Astros to take peoples mind off how boring the fight was. Irwin was baddly outclassed, but I was not impressed with Diaz. Any decent lightweight would knock him on his ass.

Yeah, I dont think Diaz is ready for prime time. If he fought Castillo, Corrales, Cassamayor, even probably Freitas, he'd get KO'd. A guy like Ebo Elders would give him the fight of his life.

WBA belt is obviously not important for him. He thinks the IBO or WBF title have more value than WBA belt. ;)

The belt wasn't worth that much anyways. He beat Lakva Sim for the title, Oh Right!
