View Full Version : Rick bigger avatar please?
.::|ULTIMATE|::. 01-21-2005, 06:25 PM Hey Rick can we get at least 300K avatar please look how lossy and undithered my animation had to be so it could fit the stringent 200K rule. Also If its about web server space can u make it so that if your animation is not hosted on boxingscene it can be as big as 400KB.
Anyway just suggestion.
Sir_Jose 01-21-2005, 06:36 PM no way some people already get carried away with avatar size.

masterdirector 03-24-2005, 04:20 AM Thanks Rick for considering the "little man" of the internet, the dialup users. Thats why I like simple web design as much as possible, cause I was one of those dialup users.
Anybody remember back when 14.4 k was the going rate? Well, I was still doing 14.4 k for about 2-3 years after that when 56 k was the new "super fast" speed. 5 years from now, DSL may feel like dialup does now.
Sir_Jose 03-24-2005, 09:19 AM Ive changed my opnion on this. Bigger avatars is a good thing. Not size wize, but pixel wise
chazz2 03-24-2005, 04:39 PM have to say you guys have sweet avatars, especialy the ones with the girls!
