I happen to think that Sugar Shane Mosely moving back to 147 is a fantastic career move. While alot of fighters seem to move up to chase money(can't blame them) they usually end up losing to a fighter mainly because he is just naturally bigger. They underestimate the natural size of their opponent. While I didn't think Shane did anything special to beat Winky, he didn't seem to do anything disgraceful either. I was actually impressed with his speed and reflexes. He looked pretty damn sharp to me actually. Am I alone in t hinking that he could actually propel himself back into the limelight in moving back? I think he could handle what's thier now, and It seems like the future of boxing is moving that way (ie..mayweather,ktsyu,gatti)

But where would they place though. What I mean is if they are able to dominate, woudl people just say they were too strong and too good for the competition?

Short term maybe. But critics & historians seem to be kinder to a fighter as time goes by. After all greatness in boxing is measured in longevity than it is in a few performances. If history is what a fighter is going for, then i say stick around in one division as long as you and your body can do it. Your chances of loosing to alot less talented fighter are slimmer than if you move up.If the money is there I understand, but in sugars case i think he can make more money beating more of the littler guys than he can fighting some of the bigger fighters.

This falls in my 'who ****ing cares' file. I'm bored with Mosley and really think his 15 minutes have past. He's just chasing Oscar for another payday..............He is on the downside.

I have to see this is a damn good carreer move. I didnt think Mosley fought bad at all in his last fight, just came up a little short. I'm thinking he would kill Spinx.

I think it's a good move for him. He's strong at 147 and really isn't that far out of his prime. I think his hands are too quick for most guys at 147 and he'd come down hard on most of the guys there. I'd like to see him take on Margarito.

Smart move by Shane. He was just too small to beat any REAL jr. middles with considerable skills.

At 147 Mosley could win or at least hold his own against anybody very smart move.

I think that mosley will be able to take it, he's pretty well rounded enough to handle anything they throw at him
