View Full Version : Fighters who got a late start but still had successful careers Kid Canada 02-13-2006, 08:31 AM I know Audley Harrison and Paolo Vidoz were both 30 when they turned pro. `Matt Skelton was 34 or 35 and has had a good career. Ron Lyle was one of the best heavyweights of the 70`s and he was over 30 when he turned pro. Can you think of anyone else? I also know he won the 1985 Philadelphia State prison title at 178lbs (out of something like 23 different prisons) while trained by Jeff Chandler.
