I can usually drink like a fish and most Saturdays nights knock back 10 - 15 pints but I went to Dortmund a few weeks back and to a bar called Venkers where they brewed there own beer on the premises, the pipes went right round the bar and the vat was right in the middle as a centerpiece.
I had three beers about 4 o'clock and then lost the the rest of the day and night, I woke up in a park at around 6 in the morning without any shoes or money (not sure if I was rolled or just lost them), my two mates don't know what happened as they cant remember a thing either, so if you ever go to Dortmund give the Venkers bar a miss (unless you want a cheap night)

That is worrying. The thing is, if Lacy gets a rematch and loses badly again, what will they say?

Hopefully Joe fights a clean boxer next time and we can see a good fight. It's wrong for guys to say that Calzaghe was exposed in that fight. He fought a rough strong guy, he got cut from a headbutt in round 4 and yet he boxed on and won a UD. Most of the judges had him 7 rounds ahead so it was a clear win that was deserved.

We'll see how he does next time.

Couldn't agree more guys, the yanks have a tendency to only see what they want to see and completely overlook the facts.

For example Joe won the fight comfortably on the cards against an awkward, physical perhaps even dirty fighter yet they focus on the fact that he couldn't put him away or that Biko was stronger than Joe, then in their eyes this equates to Joe being overrated even though Joe controlled the fight, outboxed and out scored Biko?

They overlook the important part which is controlling and winning the fight, they need to see a fighter overwhelm another and KO him for them to then say 'hey that's a good win' but real boxing is almost never like that.

Let us continue to educate where possible!

Oh and by the way there are a few Brits on here who do the same!
