View Full Version : Is Brewster underrated? N P 01-19-2005, 09:32 PM Would Brewster be able to reunite the belts? jswa17 01-19-2005, 09:37 PM he'll get another ass whooping in very near future... he just sucks! Duncan 01-19-2005, 09:38 PM Not only is Brewster not underrated, he shouldn't be rated at all. He plain sucks. N P 01-19-2005, 09:53 PM Not only is Brewster not underrated, he shouldn't be rated at all. He plain sucks. Could you be more specific, please? QueenCity 01-19-2005, 10:07 PM I don't know if Brewster is underated or not, he never throws any friggin punches. I really hope Golota rearranges his face because I think he is super lucky to have the one belt. adeelr 01-19-2005, 10:14 PM i dont think he can unite the belts but he is good prospect and is capable of beating Golota. Brewster's performance with W.K was very impressive the man can take punishment unlike Golota who will start crying if he gets tapped. MlLkMan 01-19-2005, 10:38 PM Didnt you see him fight against WK, he wasnt fit for the fight. MetalVomit 01-19-2005, 10:43 PM i dont think he can unite the belts but he is good prospect and is capable of beating Golota. Brewster's performance with W.K was very impressive the man can take punishment unlike Golota who will start crying if he gets tapped. I dont know about impressive. He was a punching bag until Wlad's soul passed out. hollister 01-19-2005, 11:04 PM He has decent handspeed, when he fights, and a decent chin, but he's an incomplete fighter, I think he'll lose his belt to Golota, and probably fade away. reebox8225 01-19-2005, 11:33 PM I think Brewster will beat Golota, but i don't see him keeping the title much longer. bonafuwa 01-20-2005, 01:16 AM Can't beleive anyone thinks Brewster's underrated. Based on the Meehan fight, the dude should not be a champion at all - even WBO. He's way too much of a nice guy to be explosive. He's very passive and never throws enough punches. AKATheMack 01-20-2005, 01:22 AM Underrated? I find him to be overrated just by calling him a pro boxer. His chin is excellent and he has heart other than that he's worthless. He didnt beat Wladimir, he won. He "lost" to Meehan and Meehan was destroyed by Williams who was destroyed by Vitali. If Brewster is underrated this is the best group of heavyweight boxers ever. Torino 01-20-2005, 01:25 AM I will be suprised if Brewster survives Golota. Golota should make Brewster feel as if he's fighting three Meehans. That is unless someone does a Vasoline sneak attack on Golota Nodogoshi 01-20-2005, 04:50 AM Golota is gonna KO the hell out of this guy. Brewster doesnt even have a chance. Golota will have him out cold in less then 4 rounds. TheGreat1 01-20-2005, 04:51 AM Didnt you see him fight against WK, he wasnt fit for the fight. he may not have been fit KTFO of WK jabsRstiff 01-20-2005, 08:41 AM Brewster is viewed exactly as he should be viewed - SUSPECT. He's an average fighter who is in the spotlight because of a win over one the most mentally weak fighters of recent times. Sure, he hung tough through the early bombardment....but, he was horribly outclassed during those moments. He's pretty tough, & has a good left hook....that's about it. He can beat Golota because there's always that chance that golota beats himself. He'd have to beat Golota in a similar fashion to the way he beat WK......wait for the superior skilled fighter to unravel & then lay it on him. Again....these heavyweights stink ! Kimmy 01-20-2005, 12:08 PM The factor in the Golota fight is all on Golota. He is the suspect here. Golota has managed to lose every worth while fight he has ever had and by verture of there being a belt on the line here, albeit the WBO, the pressure Golota imposses on himself in these situations could be the key here. I tentively predict Golota on points but those demons of Golota's will be circling that ring all night...... leff 01-20-2005, 01:13 PM No, brewster is wieved as the bum he is. Pno 01-20-2005, 01:17 PM If Brewster didn't suck then DK would have had more faith in him and not excercised his outside help against WK. jabsRstiff 01-20-2005, 01:29 PM Wlad's as bad as Brewster. Both have no future. guru 01-20-2005, 01:45 PM brewster is as underrated as maksaev, jeremy williams and butterbean.......... NONE Mr. Ryan 01-20-2005, 02:15 PM Brewster was simply a creation of corrupt boxing rankings and the perfect circumstance with a fragile Wladmir Klitschko. leff 01-20-2005, 03:50 PM Wlad's as bad as Brewster. Both have no future. AHAHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHHAHAHAH your kidding right? dansweeney 01-20-2005, 04:01 PM he has a great chin, and a good left hook but not much else, if he impressively kayo's the foul pole ill bump him up a notch |
