anyways how am i going to go into a fight and get rocked , i never spar with anyone my own weight they are alll around 10 stone , i spar with pro's sometimes and a really good amature , so im used to geting big hits and when i got in the ring with this boy i didnt feel the punches atal , sure he could hit cos i noticed my nose was bleeding , the only reason the "little *****" was slapping cos i was out boxing him and i had a far longer arms , and who said anything about turning pro , have u even boxed? or are you just another member who sits and watches boxing on the tv and thinks they know it all?

lol , i would 2nyt , was sparring and i just felt there was something missing , i was tiring really quickly aswell , i can usually go a lot longer , i was just ****ed and was taking a lot more shots than i usually do , nose was bleeding , lips were cut lol :cool: do u ever feel lyk this sometyms :confused: , ive felt lyk this b4 and im always fine again in a few days

**** man your tall. Your only an inch shorter than me but your like 80lbs lighter. I remeber when I was in the lightweights when I was 15, we had a guy who was like your height. His jab was very long and my nose took a lot of hits to get to his body. Once I got there I unleashed hell though!

Anyway, don't be so negative. Just because a lot of people don't like fighting lanky's doesn't mean you should be away from competition. I'm sure you can find a gym where people have the guts to fight you and coaches have confidence in their guys to beat you. Your weight won't be like that forever, make the most of it and kick some ass.

yea a low hand stance is good for moving your head fast, also good for angle shots as you say.

just gonna add one thing, you didn't look very stable from the couple of pics you posted. keep an eye on your balance when you punch or you can get caught off-guard and get knocked down like wladimir did against williamson. klitschko wasn't hurt at all, but was caught in a bad position(off balance) which had costed him a point.

Also Tyson-Holyfield, similar thing happened, as Tyson goes in for a left hook I think it was, his feet came together, he was off balance and Holyfield just needed to nudge him and he would go down, which he did.

yes, exige, when your feet are very close, your physical point of balance raises enabling you to be knocked off balance far easier. there are ways to help counter-balance this effect when your feet are touching or nearly touching whithin a shorter than shoulder width distance, but this is beyond the scope of normal boxing training.

yeah i am kinda of balance but have been working on it , my chin used to go up a hell of a lot as soon as i seen a punch coming , but ive improved a lot on tht , ive learned to take it on the gloves :)
