its so damn obvious what happened
in the 1st fight morales was all about as roy put it

i think morales was doin exactly the same thing as in
the 1st fight, but pac didnt get cut so was able to
sustain enough pressure to weaken morales for the later
rds. the overuse of the left in the 1st also came into
play as he used a wide variety of shots in the 2nd,
including those brutal bodyshots & right hooks

maybe i need to watch the 1st fight again as ive only seen it once.
i really think the cut stopped pac more than the bodyshots.
saying that, when pac koed morales he was pretty gassed himself,
so maybe the bodyshots in the 1st fight were enough to stop pac
doing the same thing he did n the 2nd fight. im not sold yet tho

his counter punches were of no use.
pac can carry his punches while the other way around for morales.

i dont think pac can handle morales power as much as peeps think.
its more a case of morales not being able to handle pacs pressure
as well as launching an effective offensive of his own. IMO pac
was in trouble again until morales' legs went around rd 6 or 7.

also, when morales threw combos pacquiao stopped, backed up, or
threw short, less powerful combos in reply. this for me meant
that as long as morales had the stamina to jab going forward the
decision was going to be his. if morales legs went because of
pacs punches, or for some other reason we will never know. but for
the time being i would never count morales out of the rubbermatch
