Morales exercises Pac-Man rematch clause

Exclusive Pacquiao interview
By Ant Evans: Just two weeks after getting broken down inside 10 rounds by a rampant Manny Pacquiao, warrior Erik Morales has taken the bold decision to exercise his contractual right to fight the 'Pac-Man' for a third time. The rubber match will take place in September.

Pacquiao went 1-1 in the dramatic, gripping series last month by sensationally becoming the first man ever to legitimately knock down and then stop Morales in 10 rounds which were, quite honestly, increasingly one-sided in the Filipino puncher's favour. After the fight, Morales admitted he was 'tired of boxing' and many expected (or perhaps 'hoped' is the proper term) Morales would at least take down time away from the sport.

But, perhaps not surprisingly, Morales wants immediate revenge for the only stoppage loss of his career.

money talks...expect morales to box around pac this time...that is if really learned anything from his loss...it'll be very hard to for erik to beat a two-fisted pacman. imo pac still needs to work on his defense.

i heard that pac is negotiating to have the rubbermatch staged in manila in front of his countrymen. he will definitely train harder for this fight as the stake is much bigger this time around. i hope finkel will take care of the rest. may the best man win! :boxing:

? It doesnt make any sense lol

morales has shown he aint able to go hard for 12rds with
a top guy, even a smaller guy like manny pacquiao so IMO
morales will lose to pac, barrera, jmm and raheem

If this fight happens in Manila, Pacquiao will get knocked the f*ck out. Big fights like this, Pac needs to train in the closed Wild Card Gym, free from distractions. Politicians, TV stations, fans, promotional stuff, etc will serve as his demise if he fights a big fight in Manila.

Pac should keep fighting bums like Fahsan if he fights in the Philippines. Big fights like Barrera, Morales, Marquez, Barrios, etc, need to happen in the US.

My 2 cents.
