Ok, without reading any of the supporting posts to this thread, with what this guy said in mind only, I have to say it's very very dumb. Vitali has never been knocked down. He smacked around and knocked down 4 times was it?; the bum that Tyson fought and couldn't even knock down. Tyson is done. He's a bum who can't fight for the sport of the people, only for his own personal problems which is debt. He should stay behind bars where the people are safer around him and for himself. But Vitali, is too effective with his "one dimensional" boxing (as it was called here). Tyson can not take these kind of shots, and doubt he can slip them to get at punching distance. Vitaly is too good at this moment and Tyson too far gone. There is always the punchers chance, but todays Tyson lacks the heart and will to "sail against the current".

thank you for proving my point Junior. What does he knee in the Williams fight have to do with the fact he hasn't won a fight aginst an opponent with a heartbeat in 14 years? He quit in the Williams fight. Was he injured? Yes, I'm sure he was. My daughter had a similar surgery on her knee from a softball injury. She was up and walking the same day.

Mike Tyson has lost his reflexes, has no game plan and doesn't seem care if he wins or loses. He doesn't get in shape and can no longer go more than two rounds. Could he get lucky with a punch? sure he could, as can anyone else who steps in a ring. The last time Mike Tyson was a good fighter, you were not even born.

The '86-'88 could have beaten anybody, and this '86-'88 Tyson would have had an easy night against Vitali.

But he is not by far the same guy anymore. First the leeches and the money got to his head, than Douglas (against the untrained mike), Holyfield, Lewis and (the final stroke for) Williams broke down the untrained mike in the ring. After the beatings in the ring and the beatings in life it is obvious does not believe in himself and or his skill anymore.

At this age he does not have the skill, the speed and reflexes he had during his prime. These are the tools he needs to get close in order to deliver his punches.
