there's no such thing as experience in boxing..it depends on how a boxer was trained prior to the fight..plus the talent, youth, and heart..these will make the big difference..

Each fight is a new fight. So more than experience, it's the right training and conditioning, focus, hunger and heart that will count more.

In fact, experience by itself could even be a negative factor. Very much like a jalopy, a boxer is certainly slowed down by wear and tear! ;)

The right amount of Experience helps reflexes and the ability to exploit more of your opponents weaknesses.

Barrera's superior all-around boxing skills and experience wasn't enough to stop "the little avalanche".

JMMarquez' superior technical skills and experience didn't stop the "typhoon across the Pacific" either.

We will see on the 19th of March if Morales' superior all-around boxing skills, height & reach advantage and championship fights experience will prevail.

call it anyway you like speed vs experience, iron fist vs iron chin, right vs left, i still could not wait any longer to see this fight ...

Experience is like a parabola. It helps you in the beginning then it doesn't matter, then it hurts you.

Morales is at the tail end of his career and he will continue to get big fights because of his experience, but as younger fighters come up, they will administer a bigger and bigger beating to him.
