Been working out for the last 3wks at home.. I'm limited to my exercises so i only do bench, fly's bi's and tris and abs..
I've been working out pretty much everyday taking weekends off..
Yesterday I tried to do my regular workout with little success.
My mind was saying push, push, push.. My body was saying **** you I aint doing **** today..
Could hardly squeeze out 5crunches.. My abs didnt' hurt, they felt good, my body just quit.. WEnt to my bench and I had to pull 50LBS off the bar so I could lift it..

Is this normal?? Is it my body recovering?? Is my body tired??
Never had anything like this B4..
Today I tried to do my workout again.. this time i did 20crunches with no weight..
My norm, is 20 crunches with 50lbs on my chest, drop 25lbs and continue for a few mins..
Any advice as to what the problem may be??

is your body use to these workouts? are you getting enough rest for your muscles and protein shakes to go along with it?

I'll do the workouts upto 3x a day, but that's on a good day..
AS far as I know i'm not killing myself, I'll rest atleast a few hours between..
Protein and carbs, I shoudl be gettting enough, eating eggs, tuna and chicken like crazy, bread, sometimes i have a protein shake but they make me drouzy..
this is the 3rd week, so i would assume my body is used to it, though I could be wrong.. 3wks is good right?? or do you think it's catching up with me??

You should not work out the same muscles so much, you need to give them time to recover in between workouts. You should not do the same muscles day after day and especially don't do them more than once in the same day. You are gonna end up doing more damage to the muscles than good. The only muscle that you can work out basically everyday is your abs, other than that alternate days that you do the rest. You should also try to throw in some leg workouts if you can.

it all starts in your mind, YOU have to motivate it and your body will follow, this isnt as easy as it sounds.

Running would probably be pretty good for you. For squats do whatever weight you can, start out low and if you can do more start throwing more wight on there, it should be tough but don't strain yourself too much.

yea just do 2 areas of your body in one day, then another 2 the next n so on.
this is how i do my routine for fitness.
bis n abs day 1,
upper legs n shoulders 2,
tris n lower back 3,
low legs n neck 4.
the just repeat after a two day rest and recover.
make sure to eat the correct foods before and after trainning. if your not sure what foods to eat, try a bodybuilding website.

My Friend your routine is the reason you're coming down with the flu.Your rountine is terrible, just terrible. Want to know why? PM me and I'll tell you why.

I was thinking the same, rested for 3 days and i feel fine..
Wont' be making that mistake twice..
Working on a schedule to break down my work out into multiple days.. we'll see how it goes..
I've uped my bench weight too 170lbs and i'm doing 3-4sets of 5-6 reps..
Jogged for 25min, did the mile @20min haha, My original time was wrong..
Incorporated some leeg exercises into my routine and I'll see how it goes for 4wks..
