View Full Version : Hardest Punching Little Man (135 and below). LuKahnLi 01-18-2005, 09:45 AM Which fighter below lightweight is the hardest puncher ever. wissy 01-18-2005, 10:01 AM Ever? tough to say. At the present, the consensus is pacman and rafael marquez. LuKahnLi 01-18-2005, 10:13 AM Damn. I had to close my browser window before I was able to finish this. Mr. Ryan 01-18-2005, 11:19 AM Of all time I would say is Jimmy Wilde, that right hand was something to behold. Right now I would say is Rafael Marquez, it's been a long time since someone hit as hard as he does at 118. LuKahnLi 01-18-2005, 11:23 AM Dunno dude. Olivares put people to sleep at 118 pretty good. jabsRstiff 01-18-2005, 11:25 AM Wilde....Zarate....Saddler...."Little red" Lopez....Arguello....Galaxy....Carbajal....Wilfred o Gomez....Zamora....Olivares Sir_Jose 01-18-2005, 12:02 PM Sandy Saddler gets my vote for all time. right now I would say Rafeal Marquez. PRboxingfan 01-18-2005, 01:02 PM What about Salvador Sanchez? He was a really big hitter, too. Out of the list I would go with "Bazooka" Benitez. Right now, tho, I think Chico is the hardest hitting one below 135. We've Got Bush 01-18-2005, 03:00 PM What about Edwin Rosario jabsRstiff 01-18-2005, 03:12 PM What about Salvador Sanchez? He was a really big hitter, too. Out of the list I would go with "Bazooka" Benitez. Right now, tho, I think Chico is the hardest hitting one below 135. Salvador Sanchez was not a big puncher. Edwin Rosario definitely rates....& near the top, too. Knicksman20 01-18-2005, 04:41 PM My vote's for Chico Corrales. He's got that explosive 1 punch KO power. dansweeney 01-18-2005, 04:50 PM michael carbajal bonafuwa 01-20-2005, 01:45 AM Right now? Rafael Marquez - no doubt! NiGe2011 01-20-2005, 02:38 AM Corrales, no question. Counter Puncher 01-20-2005, 04:01 AM This is tough and very subjective. If I go by the poll list, excluding "someone else", I'd say Wilfredo Gomez. He knocked out all his foes prior to being stopped by Sanchez. But if you look at the poll results, 75% says "someone else" and I agree. For me, Pacman should be there. K-Yo 01-20-2005, 03:10 PM Joan Guzman chingon28 01-20-2005, 03:56 PM damn it looks like pacman should be considered in the all time everything. anything someone asks a question a whole lot of people want to jump on his dick about it. i guess he should be considered ali jr. tri4ben2 01-20-2005, 04:34 PM How do Marquez and Pac rate all time? What about compared to Corrales? adeelr 01-20-2005, 07:09 PM what about prince naseem his punches were real powerfull, from weird angles, you dont know where the power is coming from. i m surprised nobody mentioned him. I have heard larry merchant say that his power was like sandy sadler's or maybe better. MlLkMan 01-20-2005, 07:12 PM Pacman for me. ispayder 01-20-2005, 07:17 PM damn it looks like pacman should be considered in the all time everything. anything someone asks a question a whole lot of people want to jump on his dick about it. i guess he should be considered ali jr. It was Ali himself that says Pacman is like a little Ali. cple 01-20-2005, 09:57 PM Alfonso Zamora definately deserves a mention. Possibly the hardest hitting latino of all-time...and that's saying a lot. Hurlex 01-20-2005, 10:32 PM now:R. marquez and joan guzman whdempsey 01-21-2005, 04:32 PM What about Salvador Sanchez? He was a really big hitter, too. Out of the list I would go with "Bazooka" Benitez. Right now, tho, I think Chico is the hardest hitting one below 135. ...Did you mean Bazooka Gomez? And Salvador was a good, sharp puncher, but he wasn't a banger on the same plane as these other guys. whdempsey 01-21-2005, 04:35 PM Alfonso Zamora definately deserves a mention. Possibly the hardest hitting latino of all-time...and that's saying a lot. Carlos Zarate deserved to be mentioned to, but I didn't notice his name. {BrownBomber} 01-21-2005, 04:36 PM Zarate no doubt. Solo322 01-21-2005, 06:47 PM Of all time I would say is Jimmy Wilde, that right hand was something to behold. Right now I would say is Rafael Marquez, it's been a long time since someone hit as hard as he does at 118. I'm gonna agree with marquez on this one Ranger2408 02-01-2005, 04:37 PM Corrales, no question. Man where have you been? i have not seen you post since the "doom3" thread ages ago |
