Butterbean is just a fat slob with a good punch. ANY half decent heavyweight would out-box him.

I've seen him stopped on two occasions while boxing. I've also seen him get KTFO'd in K-1. He sucks!

I saw him fight Dan The Beast Severn. I paid good money for the tickets too. The fight was friggn rigged! No real punches thrown, a couple of pit pats.... Second round.... Lots of holding. Then out of the blue, Severn slams Butter bean not once, but twice. Then the ref stops it by DQ. Within 5 Mins, butterbean was sitting at a table signing autographs and Severn was signing them in the ring.

It was pathetic!

I CANT think of the fighters name, it will come to me soon! He was called little hands of stone (Not duran) Anyway.... I was sitting ringside next to Berstien,(Butterbean was there but not fighting) I was listening to two promoters talking (IT WAS MICHAL CARBAjal I JUST REMEMBERED!) Well.. They were discussing wich fighter he was going to use to lay down for butterbean! I was a bigger Butterbean fan at the time too. But hell, I asked this little guy that was with the promoter if the fights were fixed, he laughed and said "watch the fight and you tell me." Later, I spoke to the promoter that was cutting the deal with Beans promoter.... I simply said "why would you fix a fight with Butterbean" He said it doesn't matter, its only a four rounder.

That's messed up, I saw some of his opponents fold up or go down inexplicably, but at the time, I thought they were just afraid of being hit with the real bombs, so basically, his carreer for the most part is all bull****, I know even if it was all real, it wouldn't really be worth much anyway, but to have a carreer like his, and on top of that it's not even real, man that sucks.

the only career more pathetic than Beans was Mark Gastineau.

At least Bean showed some fighting abilty, as slight as it was. Gastineau was hilarious. every one of his fights were fixed. He could hardly throw a punch. I bet Brigette Neilson used to kick his ass.

I remember the Tough Man compitition he won, Sure he won it legit, but not by a KO. The last fight of the elimination was a bore, he survived. Old Larry Holmes beat him! Anybody with a jab would beat this guy.
