I made this thread because Mayweather won the poll I made on my thread called Target: Kotszya Tszyu. Ok so it appears to many that Mayweather has the goods to defeat Tszyu. I've seen people say that Floyd can possibly pull a points victory upset on him, while others claim there is no way Floyd can take Tszyu's power. How do you see this fight unfolding and who do you think would really win? Your opinions.

If mayweather's lucky enough to avoid ALL OF tszyu's right hand, Mayweather has a chance of winning in decision. But I don't see that because he got caught by Chop-Chop and Castillo and got ROCKED...Tszyu is a very strategic fighter with extremely accurate and powerful right straight...He won't let Floyd out of trouble after catching with his right hand..

Well only way of beating KT I find is to have the chin to withstand the punishment and to be able to give as good as your taking. I don't think you can win against him by trying to avoid them punches. It's just gonna catch you sooner or later. Zab's super quick and still got caught...

Floyd never got hurt against Castillo and Chop was a leftie who caught him while he was swinging. Floyd will win because he is the better fighter plain and simple. All Zoo has over him is the power and Floyd will neturalize that. Floyd has a one of the best chin's in boxing. Everyone is overdoing the whole Chop thing. Floyd can do everything better then Zoo. People always go crazy when a power puncher comes around but when they fight someone who can do it all they always lose. Dont compare Floyd to Zap and Mitchell because he is on a different level then them

He's on a different level # for # when he was at 135. We don't know what would happen when he gets tagged by a guy who has a welterweight punch. This is where his chin gets tested for me for real.

zab judah had speed too but once he got caught it was over.same thing for mayweather once he gets caught he'll be doing the chicken dance 2.

I picked Kostya. But my pick is not based on his power alone. Zoo's ability to cut off the ring will be af a great advantage over Floyd. Floyd is a smart kid also and will try to move away from Kostya's right hand but that is not gonna help him because Kostya's left hook will be rocking him everytime he will move to the right. I think that only Aaron Pryor type of a fighter has chances of beating Tszyu. Iron chin and huge volume of punches is the key to overcome Kostya. And Floyd is definately not Hawk.

Also add the fact that Tszy is probably the hardest hitting fighter ever at 140 and this is Floyd's 3rd weight class.

I agree, i am a fan of both, aside from the fact that i dont like Floyd as a person. Both are amazing athletes, and your right Jose, Tszyu is too patient and too accurate for the "Mayweather roll" i'll say Tszyu KO 9

I pick Tsyzu all day long. He seems better after his layoff, in that fight I think Mayweather would eventully get ran over by Tsyzu's big left hand and look pretty silly, kind of like Zab Juhdah.

IMO the only boxer under 140 who has a chance against Kostya is Miguel Cotto, he may be able to grind out a win.
