I agree actually. If Tua comesback dedicated and beats top opposition, he probably would take tyson. If tyson is dedicated it would be a good fight while it lasted.

Anyway, it's really hard to tell. First of all, no matter how fans hope for, at 38, Tyson is just not the same. Remember that this is the same Tyson who got beaten by Williams we're talking about. Tua in the other hand is 6 years younger than him. Second, Tua haven't been inside the ring for two years. So no body knows if he'll be back hungrier or just plain hungry [if you know what I mean :D ]. So I don't know. I guess I just have to wait for Tyson and Tua's next fight and see what's up.

I don't know how washed up Tua's become over the last two years, but my guess is he still has a chin and a left hook. That's enough to beat (in short order) today's Tyson 100 times out of 100.

I think this would be a very short and quite ugly fight for Tyson and his fans. I am certain that Tua could take Tyson's best punch(nowadays at least), If Danny Williams could last through Mike's onslaught in their fight even before Tyson hurt his knee he landed a few bombs on Danny's "*******", and he was rocked but not out. Tua imo has one of the best chins in the biz, and has more than enough power to ko Tyson, especially the Tyson of today you know the one who seems to have very little if any fire left in him he just doesn't seem to want to fight anymore at all.

So I'd say Tua by ko rd. 2

I read this interview with Williams a while back and he said Tyson brings it in the 1st round. After that his punches get weaker and weaker, so he knew he was going to beat Iron Mike.

Tyson has never been "knocked the **** out" before. I think most of the knockdowns what were knockouts were from accumulated punishment and fatigue..I think Tyson would decapitate Tua. Tua has never faced a puncher in the same category as Tyson...

If it is possible for Tyson to get some stamina with McGirt, changes his medication (or stops taking it in order to become more aggrssive), it will be an exciting fight, with Tyson probably victorious.

Tua's chin wins the fight, both fighter can punch but Tua's chins solid.

Both fighter would got to war in the first round, their style's couldnt do anything other than war.

This would be a back and forth War with Tua catching Tyson and Knocking him out sometime between 6-8Rds.Tyson will get frustrated because Tua will be able to take all the bigshots that he offers.Tua will just keep moving foward,pounding away on Tyson till he finds that opening for one of his trademark left hooks it'l be over.

Look how much Lennox Lewis had that ***** stumbling back in their fight. I agree, Tua can take punishment without falling, but he isn't like a freakin' tractor or something, when he gets hit hard he reacts..

tua-tyson would be an awesome fight, no doubt. if tua can take tyson past round 1 or 2, i think tua would win. both of these guys have similar body types and both have great chins and can punch

Both are about the same height, but I think the deciding factor here is their chins. Both guys have terrific chins, but I just haven't seen Tua really rocked before. Maybe the guys he fights are so afraid of what's coming back at them that they don't really turn into their punches and put everything in their shots.
