I would bet a paycheck Vitali eats him alive start to finish. Whats funny is I could see Ruiz winning if he fought Tua again. Tyson vs Tua would kick ass. They are both past their primes but they can still throw bombs that could knock any man out cold.

I think Vitali vs. Tua would be one helluva fight.

Why do you think the only result is by knock out or one of the fighter`s quiting? It is quite a simply resultby UD in a Klitscko wins by UD in a boring one sided affair. Tua will not be able to reach him!

I honestly believe what they say about Vitali being "heavyhanded" He hits with such accuracy and power, with his frame and defense,I believe he is the best in a long time. He would knock Tua out, probably similar to the williams fight. Tua cant hit him,,and vitali can land bombs all nightat will. And Vitali is always ingreat shape and his weight doesnt fluxuate that much. well he does have a degree in sports medicine right?
This one will not go 12 rounds.

Klitsko will take this. He's way too big.

Tua did not do all that well agaisnt Rahman two years ago.

Then he put on about a welterweight or so worth of fat while he was having problems with his management.

So he is going to take on a couple of smaller fighters that cant take a punch, and all the VK haters are going to say that he can beat VK.

When he finally takes on VK, VK jabs and 1-2s him to death in much the same way he did to Danny Williams except that Tua is even shorter and fatter.

With the exception of some scary moments, VK UD12 unless the ref stops the fight. I don't see Tua going out on his back.

Think Vitali is too big and Tua past his "prime".

So at the end it will be Vitali victorious.

I gave up on Tua years ago.
I was tired of thinking he'd win, & then watching him basically sleepwalk through his fights.

He hasn't been fully motivated in YEARS. Now, he's been laid off for almost two years, & is fat as hell.

The only fight I'd ever want to see him in would be against Tyson....because he wouldn't have to chase down or reach for Mike.
But, Tyson's too much of a ***** to ever face a guy as strong & powerful as Tua....& he knows Tua would have no fear of him.

Tyson should fight Oldyfield and the loser should retire. That's a different thread though.

Tua has tremendous chin so V.Klitch would have a hard time taking this guy down. And yes, height would be a major factor. Remember Lewis-Tua? Tua was the aggressor but he couldn't land anything because his reach is short (he was heeling a lot of the times). But then again, Lewis' skill is better than V.Klitch.

And of course there's the luau. How do you think Tua spends his time during all those time out of the ring?

V.Klitch UD.

I remember Lewis/Tua but I don't remember Tua doing much but trying to survive and not piss Lummox off.

though tua does have a tremendous chin, vitali wud still take him out. even if he doesn't get knocked down, he'll wobble so much that the ref wud stop the fight. comon vitalis almost a foot taller than him. there is basically no way that tua could reach him. vitali wud pick him apart using, jabs, and his newly developed uppercut

that's a good point.. just because someone has a steel chin doesn't mean they can't get TKO'd... refs will stop a fight if the pounding they take is severe enough..

VK by KO by round 8 (seems to be VK's favorite round to win lately) :) Tua would have to come forward to land any punch and VK is too good of a counterpuncher not to take advantage of that.

Vitali-Tua would be a boring technincal mismatch. David Tua couldn't get anything done with Lewis, and Vitali's got the same european style that just seems to work against Tua for some reason. Tua has absolutely no boxing skills, just focuses on the left hook. He's like a crude Joe Frazier.

I think Tua will have a chance, with his power.

If Tua decided to train hard for this fight he'd have a good chance of winning.

Vitali(like his brother) need to be backed up, they dont seem too good under pressure and a strong fighter like Tua could do it. Tua's probably one of the only fighters who isnt out of Vitali's league in strengh.

I doubt Tua would put the work in to make and fight of it so i'd pick Vitali, with Tua having a very good punchers chance.

I think Vitali would win because of his reach advantage and his height.

If Tua decided to train hard for this fight he'd have a good chance of winning.

No amount of training could prepare Tua for Vitali. Unless, of course, Tua's training includes working on a "leaping" left hook. Also, Tua would need to have his arms surgically lengthened, plus he'd need to add a second dimension to his boxing "skill".

All Tua could hope for in this fight is that Vitali might tire himself out from beating on the Samoan's thick head. Then Tua might actually get past Vit's stiff long jab and, possibly, connect on the giant's very good chin.

Vit probably wouldn't put Tua down, but he'd beat him easy. It will probably look alot like Tua-Lewis, except it might be Tua's corner that decides to stop the beating.

Ratta-tat-tat, on Tua's thick head, that's that.

The height and reach advantage for Vitali would be too much for Tua to oevrcome. I see Tua plodding for 12 rounds and getting peppered with jabs and one-twos. Vitali won't let him in close enough, so the left-hook will not really be a factor. I see Vitali fighting scared though. Klitschko W12 (UD)!

Danny Williams is a very strong guy, didn't help him. How anybody could think Tua would trouble Klitschko is beyond me.

Lets see now. Tua is 5 foot 8 and a half-Klitco is 6 foot 8 inches tall. How will Tua reach him.I think Klitco wins this fight. Later brother brolog.

Vitali Klitschko will win this bout by unanimous decision. David Tua has just a strong left hook, but nothing more. He's too short to give Vitali serious problems and Vitali has dealt with these kind of short fighters in the past with success. The only problem for Vitali is how his fists will react if the fights will go to 12 full rounds distance. Is he able to jab Tua with power. Vitali got problems with his swollen fists in the recent matches.

VK kills Tua. The only person I would want to watch against Tua would be Butterbean, now thats a ****ing fight.
