View Full Version : How do i get… LS-Injection 01-13-2006, 07:00 PM Hi i just wanted to know, how do i build up my shoulders to give them some definition…i have arms ect…but i just can't get my shoulders up what would any of you suggest…? tnf1400 01-13-2006, 09:21 PM try clean and jerks, power cleans, or any olympic style lift. i seem to benfit from the with size power and speed. tebe6sm 01-13-2006, 09:40 PM Definition is mostly given by a lower body fat percentage, but good shoulder exercises include the ones stated above, and also: front shoulder raises side shoulder raises the same as the last two except with the thumb of the respective shoulder facing upwards tricep extensions and shoulder rotations where you're on a flat bed and just the forearm hangs over and rotates up and down. That's what I've been doing for physical therapy for my shoulders for now sorry if they are unclear I'm kinda tanked right now but if there is any confusion I'll try to clarify tomorrow. Kayo 01-14-2006, 01:27 AM if you lift weights do military press and front/side shoulder raises. If you dont go with hand stand push ups. theirs no exercises that will give you definition definition is caused by low body fat LS-Injection 01-14-2006, 06:24 AM Thanks all for your help good k on the way when i can give it out again :) -GBGQ- 01-14-2006, 07:12 AM Try a super-set of dumbbell raises. It always cuts my shoulders up quick. Sit in a work out chair, do 10 raises forwards with right arm then repeat with left. do 10 raises sideways with right arm then repeat with left. then double over and pull the dumbbells straight back 10 times simultenously. Sorry if this sounds confusing, it's really easy and get's great results. I have a bumb shoulder too, seperated during a fight and once in hockey.. the shoulder press alwasy gives me an uneasy feeling what was that other exercise you were talkign about?? the shoulder rotation.. Do you lay face down?? tebe6sm 01-14-2006, 01:31 PM Yeah I lay face down with the arm hanging over the edge for the first five. The last one, the shoulder rotation thing is kind of hard to explain but just the forearm hangs over the edge and I just rotate my arm 90 degrees upwards so it is parallel with the table. They have had me doing 30 reps with a two pound weight so I don't put too much stress on it yet. |
