I found out today that i am considered as "Mr Fitness" by some of the coaches, as i was getting tired (hristmas break ****ed me up) and one of the parents was messing around saying "finding it a bit harder today?" and all that... then one of my trainers was like "he usually has the energy" and said something about being Mr Fitness... i was like... "Ok... thanks :D".

Then after that i was doing bag work after the ground work and inbetween rounds this kid was lightly sparring me, and he thought he could smother me with shots. I thought, "****!", for the first split second, then i did a Naz, ducked my right shoulder towards my left leg and tapped him with an uppercut. He seemed shocked as hell, and walked off to start the next round. Then after that round me and him were doing more of this dumb "light sparring", and he tried doing the same thing again, but i wasnt in a position to duck to the left this time so i stepped back on his first jab, got into the rhythm of his 4 punch combo and made him miss all 4 and i landed all 4 jabs clean on his nose (countering him). About 2 rounds later he lifted his head up and i noticed that blood was coming from his nose, which gave me that added satisfaction, you know?

Now you might be thinking this is a pointless story. And you are probably right. But the thing that made it special was that he was the one who beat the **** out of me on my first sparring session (after being at the club for about 2 months, and he had been for about 6 i think). So when i caught him with those shots and did all the defensive shit i was happy...

Amateur Rules:
eXig3 - 5 punches landed
Dude who bashed me up in sparring first time round - 0 punches landed....

Peace out BoxingScene!!! :) :D

I know exactly what you mean! Whether you cut them, KO them or knock them down, nothing beats that great feeling you get.

Keep training hard and good luck man.

Cool, have you won some respected tournaments then? Any ABA's or anything?

I've won a few local tournaments. We mainly have them against rival gyms so a good ko is always rewarding!
