Thats ridiculous, that ref was wrong IMO.

He only should have stopped the fight if the fighter had something wrong. If he detected some form of damage in the fighters eyes then fair play. But pushing him over and not allowing him to get up is criminal.

he did NOT push the fighter over, he was moving them apart with the back of his hands, and the other guy collapsed. If you fall down simply from a hand glancing your chest, should you still be allowed to continue a boxing match?

That was Lonnie Beasley getting stopped by Julio Cesar Green.
It was a USA Tuesday Nighter from back in '94.
If you guys had seen it, you'd have realized that Beasley was beaten to ****. Green tore him apart.
