PunchDrunk 01-26-2006, 07:08 AM How many fights do you have? You won't be going to the Olympics with 10 fights, you know...
Kid Achilles 01-26-2006, 12:00 PM Good luck with your career man. It's a tough racket so be cautious about the intentions of the guys bringing you up. It's all about money for some of the guys in this sport; your well being is not their biggest priority. If they match you up with someone really experienced early on, find someone else to manage you. It only takes a few beatings to end most fighter's careers, and it only takes one particulary bad one to end a life.
Find people you can trust and even then be aware of what's happening and who they're putting you in with.
You already know most of this stuff, but it's good to hear it over and over I think.
Good luck.
