for this kind of a showing in a comeback bout against a tough son of a *****. Kudos to the man that beat up my favorite fighter of all time. Also it sounds like Lacy fought a good fight. Is this true?

Wicked fight, Tito looked awesome, Mayorga is freakin tough,I think the two free punches Mayorga gave Tito changed the fight, he underestimated Tito's power and they hurt him, but he's one tough SOB.Showed Oscar how to get up from the liver shot.Excellent fight.Klitchko looked bad against a bum, glad we got his brother.

Although I don't like Trinidad and bet against him.
I admit that he deserves respect for tonight's win.

I thought Tito got hit too much and looked a little discouraged a few times...Mayorga should have tried to punch and run for 4-5 rounds instead of his offering his bread to be buttered. He should have tried to make Tito miss & overextend his punches to wear him out a bit. He needed more strategy and less machismo. Tito should just go back to Puerto Rico and enjoy his money.

Lacy the second coming of Golota? Nah, he knows how to throw the hand opposite the side the referee is standing on...

So Lacy was fighting dirty then? Beside the low shots did he look impressive? It sounds like Mayorga gave a great effort but Tito was just on his game tonight.

I think Lacy needed the nutshots to set up the win, he looked a little unsure of himself (got right hand crazy) because Vanderpool was proving that Jeff was a sucker for every trick in the book. His left eye will be a big problem unless he goes on a early KO streak he'll lose against a better jabber. He certainly looks the part but was getting hit a bit too much and can obviously be "outhought".

Sure why not, if a roider is getting all this damn respect, so should a guy that loads his gloves.

Tito loaded his gloves and was caught before he fought B-hop, Margarito loaded his gloves too and was busted before he fought Sugar Shane, both cheaters were caught by brother Nazzim Richardson!

oh im sorry, those are 2 completely different things my mistake. Margarito and tito didn't load their gloves, they just used illegal wraps, thanks for clearing this up for me, I now respect both of them more than ever!

here is Aladdin Freeman's closing statement:

I've now heard three different accounts of what happened. First was Bernard Hopkins, who was lead to believe that all Trinidad had was tape on his hands, Hopkins told me this first hand (no pun intended). The next thing I heard was that Trinidad used layers and layers of tape and gauze on his hands and finally I read and heard Tito used a foam around his knuckles.

If a fighter is in forty fights, more than half championship fights where the supervision is more severe, don't you think if the guy is cheating or loading his hands, that he'd have been caught by now? My last question is, almost after every fight Trinidad is the first guy to take his gloves off, but keeps his tape on.

If he and his father were trying to cheat don't you think he'd cut the tape and everything off?

Tito never cheated get your facts straight.
