If I'm not mistaken, this guy was calling out Toney at the end of last year. Now he goes and gets completely destroyed by this Chagaev guy? Yeah, Rob, you would have given Toney all he could handle

View Full Version : Rob Calloway destroyed in 2 rounds DiegoFuego 01-07-2006, 04:28 PM If I'm not mistaken, this guy was calling out Toney at the end of last year. Yeah, Rob, you would have given Toney all he could handle  PBDS 01-07-2006, 04:32 PM ....********* has Chagaev ranked like 14 in the world. Calloway was a serious underdog going in. AintGottaClue 01-07-2006, 04:48 PM i beilve he was blown away also in 2 rounds by hasbeen ****ed in his anus man as well TheEvilSaint 01-07-2006, 04:55 PM diego, where you laughing as much as i (along with the world) was when calloway sent an open letter to toney? TheFairPole 01-07-2006, 05:19 PM diego, where you laughing as much as i (along with the world) was when calloway sent an open letter to toney? You can't blame Calloway for trying to make his biggest payday ever! I think that open letter was desperation as Calloway watched all that money go down the drain. Yeah, Rob, you would have given Toney all he could handle  he never thought he was going to beat toney, he called him out cause he wanted the pay day and the name recogntion from national tv. cant blame the guy for that. of course he wasnt going to win. DiegoFuego 01-07-2006, 05:20 PM diego, where you laughing as much as i (along with the world) was when calloway sent an open letter to toney? I was because people that send open letters are generally doing so to ***** or act like someone is ducking them when it isn't the case. The only "open letter" I ever supported was Rahman's after Vitali had made up his 3rd injury to get out of their title fight. mikey5time 01-07-2006, 05:28 PM It was a bad stoppage. He was up in 3 minutes. Fight should have continued. TheEvilSaint 01-07-2006, 05:49 PM You can't blame Calloway for trying to make his biggest payday ever! I think that open letter was desperation as Calloway watched all that money go down the drain. that open letter by calloway was to hype himself up and to get toney to change his mind and fight him anyway, acting like calloway wouldve made a good opponent. it was just hilarious how he was hyping himself up and no1 believed him. Crumble 01-07-2006, 06:13 PM Calloway got knocked out in four by Audley Harrison, I just remember him looking like the soldier guy from street fighter. Yeah, Rob, you would have given Toney all he could handle  ** Thanks for the comedy relief. The recently bankrupt Toney ducked the match and lucrative payday against Calloway because he didn't want to risk a loss and the status of his #1 mandatory ranking to Rahman. It goes down in the annals of boxing that Toney was scared of Calloway, which ain't no surprise given that Toney's ducked Peter for over 2 yrs now! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!! toney ducking calloway! thats a good one! HA HA HA HA HA!!! :haha: LondonRingRules 01-07-2006, 06:28 PM HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!! toney ducking calloway! thats a good one! HA HA HA HA HA!!! :haha: I agree, it kinda shows the insecure fatboy side of Toney! !!Captain 01-07-2006, 06:42 PM Just watched the fight, it's a miracle Calloway got up as quickly as he did, he was caught with two left hooks that would knock out anybody. It's the first time I've seen Chagaev and I'm impressed. Would love to see him fight Brewster, "war of left hooks" :D TheEvilSaint 01-07-2006, 06:53 PM I agree, it kinda shows the insecure fatboy side of Toney! actually, it shows just how low the human gene pool has sunk by spawning something as stupid as you. nobody in history has ducked calloway. everybody would rather see toney vs rahman than toney vs calloway. toney didnt even need the fight. toney went for the title shot, and who wouldnt? especially when ur other possible opponent is an untalented club fighter named rob calloway. !! Anorak 01-07-2006, 07:11 PM I had £5 on Calloway. The record shows Toney and Calloway signed a contract to fight. Bankrupt Toney backed out of the contract and paid damages. Spin it anyway you wish, but the bottomline is that Toney did not wish to risk his status as contender against a "dangerous contender" Calloway. A warning to all you boys and girls. What happened to Toney is what happens when you finish the day cleaning out the local KFC franchise! |
