is this a good heavy bag?? i can get a deal for 100 POUND BAG FOR 60 BUCKS, BUT I WANNA KNOW IS THIS IS GOOD OR NOT
Brockton Lip 01-06-2006, 04:38 PM Its Everlast so thats good. But its vinyl (although leather like I think), it won't be as strong as leather. 100 pounds is kind of light but you know how hard you can hit.
LightsOut Le 01-06-2006, 05:22 PM thanks for the feed back
VERSATILE2K9 01-06-2006, 05:24 PM 50lbs swings to much.weeeelllllll it doesw depend on how hard u hit also. but the little bag is good for defense also

Re-read the ad, the 50lb bag is 60 bucks, the 100lb bag is $119.
Like I said before, check out Play It Again Sports, each store has different used stuff. There was a store in ATL that had a 100lb Everlast bag, used, for your 60 bucks. Happy Hunting!

I checked there when I was looking for a complete speed bag set, but they didn't have anything related to boxing, simply because the only violent things most Canadians take part in is hockey, thank god I'm English :D

Check 'em out if you're in the States, in ATL they had new double-end bags, I'm not sure about speed bags, but you can get the new stuff cheaper on line. It was the heavy bags that they had used, and each store was different. As to the question of whether it's a good bag or not, take it from an old man, the only value is quality.
Pugnacious_Z 01-07-2006, 03:55 AM Bag weight is not only dependent on how hard u hit but how u hit. sum ppl really push the bag and they think 100lb bag is too light for them becoz of dat, LOL.
cmason 01-07-2006, 01:22 PM i had a 65lb nevertear, and guess what? it did!
VERSATILE2K9 01-07-2006, 04:10 PM to me if u have the bag jumping all over the place with the with the chains buckling. and your putting dents in the bag theeeeeeeen i suggest to change bags. :D thats what I do to the 100lb bag at my guy i need a 150lb bag. and i do see alot of ppl pushing the bag ahahaha. i weight til the bag comes back to me to hit it.

Pugnacious_Z 01-08-2006, 05:38 AM hey mystykal, do u have any clips of yourself hittin the bag?
