View Full Version : Great article on Vitali's stamina problems Rocko 01-11-2005, 03:36 PM http://www.boxchamp.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=60 ophqui 01-11-2005, 04:03 PM So what he's got a stamina problem? so have a lot of HW's. LMAO at the recommendation to retire from boxing due to stamina issues. Interesting article stating the blindingly obvious incase anyone didnt notice it Nautilus 01-11-2005, 04:07 PM That's a fantastic article. It makes striking, deep observations that I have never heard anyone else making: 1. Big fighters get tired more than small fighters; 2. Punch output of VK (or anyone else for that matter) generally drops in later rounds; 3. A boxer with (a) better stamina than VK, (b) better boxing skills than VK, and (c) ability to take punch can defeat VK; 4. Vitaliy should therefore retire. I am astonished at the level of the analysis and will always cherish this pathbreaking article. P.S. What a crap !!! PBDS 01-11-2005, 04:09 PM http://www.boxchamp.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=60 ....Worst croc of **** haters article I have ever seen. Most NFL players and a large number of NBA players are larger than Vitali and they take a pounding and a physical workout that is equal to or superior to what he goes through and they do it week in and week out or night in and night out and they seem to handle it just fine. The only actual evidence that Vit may get a little winded is his breathing with his mouth open. WTF?? warped 01-11-2005, 04:15 PM Skimmed through enough to gather that the article was a piece of biased trash. Pno 01-11-2005, 04:29 PM sounds like there's no need to even submit myself to it's worthlessness. "great" eh? dansweeney 01-11-2005, 05:19 PM you cant even write an article like that unless the man has been knocked out at least once in the late rounds, and he has never been kayoed once, thats stupid Mr. Violence 01-11-2005, 05:30 PM Although I am NOT a Vitali fan...this article makes absolutely no sense. It is as illogical as the idiotic postings of the jizz gargler named dan swayze...I mean dansweeney...no offense. :D BrooklynBomber 01-11-2005, 07:07 PM Bull****. Aint it? Vitaly has probably one of the best stamina's in the HW boxing today. hollister 01-11-2005, 07:44 PM I've noticed one thing about VK, he almost looks gassed from the opening round, but he's not. He looked, IMO, exhausted in rounds 3 through 7 in the Wiliams fight, and then came out in round 8 and eased on the gas, ending the fight. I think that because he breathes through his mouth that everyone thinks he's out of gas, but I think his stamina is fine for a 6'8, 250 lb. fighter, he does a pretty good job of pacing himself, with exception of the LL fight. Mr. Ryan 01-12-2005, 02:28 PM Great article, too bad no one can beat Vitali :( Talk is cheap, but until Vitali is beaten in the ring, I guess these articles will have to substitute. Enayze 01-12-2005, 04:58 PM http://www.boxchamp.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=60 Are you serious? That was some of the largest load of **** that I ever read. I regret waisting 5 minutes of my life actually reading that. Jake is a complete idiot and clearly shows in his analysis that he doesnt like Klitschko. The man does not know what the hell he is talking about. Enayze 01-12-2005, 04:59 PM That's a fantastic article. It makes striking, deep observations that I have never heard anyone else making: 1.
